Mahagoni-Böden, hohe luftige Decken und geräumige Balkone mit Blick auf die Villen privaten Pool und Grillplatz. In einem Acker von Obstbäumen und Blumen, ist es ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber. Das Wohnzimmer öffnet sich auf beiden Seiten auf den geräumigen Balkon, der einen Gastgarten hat - ein idealer Ort, um die spektakulären Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. Der Haupt Schlafzimmer ist klimatisiert und mit einem eigenen Bad und einem begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Die beiden Gästezimmer teilen sich ein großes Bad und Dusche. Alle Schlafzimmer haben französisch Türen, die offen auf den Balkon und haben Meerblick. Der nächste Strand ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß oder 10 Minuten zu Fuß gelangen Sie zum Windjammer Landungen Badeort, wo Sie im Restaurant oder zu trinken in den Bars speisen können.
Much was said before and every word of it is true. This place is really a peace of paradise! A breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea, located in luscoius hills, steps away from a scenic little beach which is excellent for relaxing, snorkeling and swimming. The villa is perfectly maintained and equipped, dipping into the private pool every morning or after our day tours was heaven. We especially loved the barbecue by the pool and the wonderful orchid garden, where we enjoyed the local food from the market in Castries and the supermarket in Rodney Bay. Rodney Bay with its restaurants, bars, shopping mall and casino is just a 10 minutes drive away. And don't worry - if you do - driving on the left side of the road, people in St Lucia are very nice and patient drivers. St Lucia has so much to offer, from hiking to every kind of water sports, a beautiful wildlife and marine life, horseback riding, excellent dining, to make it short: everything you could possibly wish for! We cannot thank Chris enough for having us! And again thank you to Leslie, Leo and CJ for making us feel at home the minute we stepped in. There is no better place to stay!

Ein atemberaubender Blick auf das Karibische Meer, in grünen Hügeln gelegen, einen kleiner Spaziergang entfernt von einer malerischen Bucht, an deren Strand man wunderbar entspannen, schwimmen und snorcheln kann. Die Villa ist toll instandgehalten und großzügig ausgestattet. Jeden Morgen und nach Tagestouren in den privaten Pool zu springen ist einfach herrlich. Besonders gut hat uns der Grill am Pool und der Orchideengarten gefallen, wo wir einheimisches Essen von dem Markt aus Castries oder dem Supermarkt aus Rodney Bay genießen konnten. Rodney Bay mit seinen Restaurants, Bars, Geschäften und dem Casino ist mit dem Auto nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Und keine Sorge vor dem Linksfahren: die Autofahrer in St. Lucia sind sehr rücksichtsvoll und geduldig. St. Lucia hat alles zu bieten, was man sich wünschen kann, von Wanderungen, über jede Art von Wassersport, Reiten, eine wundervolle Flora und Fauna und eine eindrucksvolle Unterwasserwelt. Man kann Chris gar nicht genug dafür danken, dass er dieses Stück Paradies mit uns teilt. Und nochmal danke an Leslie, Leo und CJ, die uns so nett willkommen geheißen haben. Es gibt keinen besseren Ort, seinen Urlaub zu verbringen!
Leslie herself was extremely helpful arranging transportation and advising on beaches, sights, events, etc. She always answered immediately, though we never needed her for anything directly at the house.
The property is well kept - the photos are good representation of the space. Cleaned multiple times during our stay by Justine and Leo, who are very eager to share information about St. Lucia and activities on the island. At no time did anyone in our 12-person party feel unsafe at the house or beach.
Groceries are a quick 10 minute drive, the beach is a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay with Leslie and would recommend Villa Flambeau to anyone looking for an escape outside of the typical resort or town (though easily accessible)! Thanks Leslie!
We rented this house in February 2017
Pros: Lots of Space functional space -Upstair area (3 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and 2 bathroom) plus apartment downstairs (2 bedrooms, kitchen, bath). Wrap around porch. Nice pool and patio.
-Property Manager did not seem ready for us even though we had rented the house 8 months ago.
-Major electrical issues with house. The breakers need urgent replacement with ones that can accommodate every electrical outlet in the home including all bedroom air conditions, washer and dryer. We were told there was a power surge to the house two days before we moved in and that was what was causing all the electrical issues. Seems funny it only effected this house and not any others around. We delt with daily power outages as well as other problems the 4 days we stayed. When sparks flew out of the breaker panel we choose to move out....fear of fire. We had rented house for 14 days.
-Closed off apartment area below living room that had not been opened up for many years-mould/mildew.
-Had to leave doors open (no screens) at night as air conditioners not working. Barking dogs all night long as well as being eaten alive with bugs.
-No safe in house for valuables.
We have rented many houses over the years and never have had to deal with so many issues and definitely never felt the need to move out. Thank goodness we had the means to do so.
Very disappointed that owner has never taken the time to contact us. Guess it is buyer beware attitude. Will definitely think twice about using vrbo/HomeAway again.
WOULD NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE DID. WE CAN STAY HOME AND DEAL WITH HOME REPAIR ISSUES.
We rented the villa from 7 feb to 21 feb. Upon arrival on the 7 feb we found out that the place was not quite ready. There was no gas tank for the BBQ and the gas stove was not connected to the electrical circuitry. Out of the 5 air conditioner only 2 were working. There was also problems with the electrical breakers, they were tripping constantly. The place has potential to be a great place but it needs electrical upgrade in order to have all the airconditioners and apliances working. The neighbors also has big dogs( rottweiler ) who are constantly barking. The property manager was contacted but could not resolve the problems. We had to leave after 4 days as there was no AC power to the upstairs( breakers tripping). Was not a great experience for us coming from far away to enjoy this place. Charles Ottawa Canada
BEWARE: MAJOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES IN HOUSE
Rented Villa from Feb. 7th to 21st, 2017; Checked in Tuesday Feb. 7th in evening.
The home was not ready to be occupied; no running water in the lower apartment, the gas feeding the oven was not connected; no propane for BBQ; 3 of the 5 air conditioners defective. We were informed a power surge to the house 2 days before our arrival was the probable cause to everything electric; were told electrical company may be coming within the week (did not happen). Very hot and stuffy in the villa and no alternative but leave the doors and windows open (no screens) for 3 nights. We listened to the neighbourhood’s 3 rottweilers, 2 german shepherds and numerous other dogs in the area bark all night as well as getting eaten alive by the incoming bugs. We were constantly in contact with the property manager, every single day, and numerous times per day. The advertisement for the rental was a 5 bedroom home, fully equipped and in working condition (air conditioners in all the bedroom, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerators and ovens, plus towels in the bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen). There was a shortage of running hot water, towels and linens to accommodate the 6 of us. Electrical problems were still not fixed by Saturday morning. What we did have for our first 4 days of vacation was dealing with the breakers in house tripping numerous times, contacting property manager daily and the handyman coming into repair daily. We could not leave the property as there were issues every day — not much of a holiday without worries. By Saturday at around 2:30 pm everything was suppose to be up and running except for 1 air conditioner (that was not going to be replaced) and we could not use the dryer as it would blow electrical panel. We told the property manager we could live with 1 AC unit down and no dryer. At around 8:30 that evening 2 AC units were turned on to cool bedrooms for the early birds to go to bed. There was a load of laundry in the washer and pouffff, the whole house went in darkness. We contacted property manager, she asked us to reset breaker as we had done numerous other times in the 4 days. This time, sparks flew out of the breaker panel. We moved out Sunday morning; rented another villa. We were not comfortable staying in the house and feared a fire. The breakers need urgent replacement with ones that can accommodate every electrical outlet in the home. VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
If you are looking for a quiet place where you can leave your doors open even at night. That's minutes away from shopping and socializing and a short walk from a quiet shady beach. Big beautiful yard and staff that make sure that you are happy and comfortable. Then this is the place for you.
The pool is always the right temperature even early in the morning. The yard is very nice and well groomed. Brand new kitchen and bath with modern fixtures and fittings. Fully equip. kitchen we were able to make cakes, fry chicken, daily coffee, toast etc. Bedrooms have lots of closet space and the upstairs bedrooms all have doors into the porch, as well as air condition. The floors are real wood floors they are b-e-a-u-ti-ful and they feel great under your feet.
The owner is very professional kind and accommodating. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. St Lucian's are very hospitable people and the island is not very big so no where is far in St Lucia. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Being at that villa reminded me of my happiest days as a youth growing up. My kids already ask if we can come back next summer.
