Our family absolutely loved the accomodations and we had a marvelous stay. We enjoy the area and love Oak Street. Easy walking distance. Very spacious and the three bedrooms fit our needs perfectly. Great for traveling with either extended family or other couples. Outdoor space on the back of the house was the icing on the cake. Weather was nice in the morning and evenings and we enjoyed coffee and drinks on the porch. We will certainly come here again in the future.
We loved Suzy’s home!
We stayed at Suzy’s home from April 2-6,2018.
What a delightful home. From the layout to the New Orleans decor it was wonderful!! The location was great too. We did rent a car and with our use of
google maps we had no problem navigating our way to the city etc.
We looked forward to coming back to the house every evening and sitting around the kitchen and talking about our day.
We will definitely come back to New Orleans and would stay at Suzy’s again.
Thank you for a great few days!!
Fantastic Place for a Group of Friends
We had an amazing time at this house. It was by far the most well-appointed vacation property I have ever stayed in. One of our favorite features was the back patio, which has a nice deck with a table and chairs, and a sitting area in the back corner. It's shaded by a beautiful live oak and was a nice place to hang out during our down time. There is an express bus that goes straight to Jazz Fest that picks up only a block from the house, so it's a great place to stay for events at the Fairgrounds. I would highly recommend this for a family or group of friends looking to have a nice, relaxing New Orleans experience away from the craziness of the French Quarter.

Amazing place for a family getaway to New Orleans.
Absolutely Gorgeous, Best Rental House We've Ever Stayed In
We’ve had the lucky opportunity to travel and stay in rental homes all over the country and the world. This particular property is, far and above, one of the single best ones we’ve ever stayed in. Our expectations were high going in to the booking, based on all the wonderful reviews and the gorgeous photos — but even the photos don’t do this place justice. The property is meticulously taken care of and clearly very well attended to. The artwork and furniture all throughout the house are absolutely gorgeous. The backyard and patio area are an absolute treat. We tend to notice that most rental homes feel very much like they were set up for a ‘renter’. By that, I mean, secondhand or mismatched furniture, second rate / heavily used appliances in the kitchen, etc. While that’s normally not a big deal and is something we’ve come to expect as renters of lots of vacation home type properties, we were so blown away to feel that, in this home, everything was top notch, first class - designed for the luxurious, valued guest. The bed in the master bedroom is the most comfortable bed we’ve stayed in in at least the last 5 years of our travels. I normally have a very hard time sleeping in anything that’s not my own bed - but not this one. It’s super soft and cozy and the linens smelt like fresh laundry. The neighborhood is very quiet, with only the sounds of the rain outside making it’s way into the bedroom as we slept. The owner, Suzy, is an absolute joy to deal with. She responds to messages immediately, clearly, and most importantly - with exceptional warmth and kindness. (which I’ve found to be very rare these days, so I wanted to give that quality a specific shout out!) On our last day there, we needed a bit of a late checkout due to a late flight, and she was so sweet and accommodating. (I’m sure this experience will vary based on if she has new renters coming in the same day or not, but in our case, we lucked out.) We had a rental car which was perfect, since downtown / the French Quarter was about a 15 minute drive from the home. Overall, a complete 10 out of 10 experience, and I will most certainly book this same house (if I’m lucky enough to nab available dates!) every time I make a visit to New Orleans. (and honestly, that’s saying a lot, because as much as I don’t like to think I am, I’m a bit of a high maintenance traveler and have been known to be a little fussy about cleanliness and safety when I’m traveling.) Thanks for everything Suzy.
Staying at this house was an amazing treat for us. The house is incredibly nice and the furnishings and decor are unbelievable. First class and honestly, we got a lot of ideas for our home from staying there. It is fully stocked and equipped with everything you need and is a great location for a base to experience New Orleans. Suzy was wonderful and very attentive and responsive to our needs. We will be staying at this house again the next time we go to New Orleans for sure! Thanks for everything!
