Pot, bacon, ants, no heat, and road noise!

I do not recommend staying at this property even though it is in a convenient location. It is not cleaned or maintained adequately. When we arrived for check in at 4 pm the cleaners had just arrived. We did not get to check in until 7:30 pm. They offered to let us cancel and get a full refund but there was no other availability so we stayed. They offered to refund us $120 but that hasn't happened yet. There was a horrible smell of burned bacon throughout the property. The upstairs front room is noisy with road noise and had a constant stench of marijuana everywhere. The heat/ac units downstairs did not work. We complained but it was never fixed. We found a space heater and used that to heat the downstairs from 52-64 degrees. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom. The owner did respond to my messages in a timely fashion but there were no real solutions. They gave us a used bottle of lavender room spray for the smell but it needed Fabreeze and a good cleaning and airing out. Overall this was a very disappointing experience and makes me question VRBO. If the property had been cleaned properly and maintained, it might be adequate but not currently as of March 16th, 2023.

Terrible Condition-No Heat/Do Not Rent From Pure Voyage

When my daughter, husband and three-year-old checked in, the house was stone cold with no heat. They tried to get the wall heaters to run, but they would not come on. We called the number on the listing, and a nice guy came out but he couldn’t get them to run either. My wife and I had to go get our three-year-old grandson and bring him to our house because he couldn’t sleep in the cold. The parents stayed only because we had no room in our house, or they would have left then. The next day, a different technician came to try to get the heaters on. He said they were working, but there was very limited air flow and the downstairs never got above the mid-50s. The master bedroom heater was working which made sleeping there possible. As there were a couple of space heaters in the house, it seems to us that this was a pre-existing problem that management should have fixed before renting the property. In addition, the upstairs toilet would not flush and refill without manually triggering the action in the back water tank. One last thing, upon check-in found a smear of dog feces on the couch and the master bedroom floor. Obviously the house had not been cleaned well.
