Für diejenigen, die ein bisschen mehr Energie haben Sie auch die lebhafteren Badeort Mojacar Playa Region, die mit einer Vielzahl oder Bars, Restaurants, Cafés, Weinstuben, Nachtclubs usw. lebendig wird
So sei es. Golf, Strand, gekühlt oder Lively dieser Ort ist hervorragend gelegen und bietet für jeden etwas.
Auch in dem, was als die etwas weniger wohlhabenden Gegend von Spanien die Preise für die Touristen auf allen Nahrungsmitteln, Getränken und allgemeine Einkaufs ist erstaunlich preiswert.
The description of this lovely Casa and place is very accurate. A beautiful holiday home that is within walking distance of beach and cafes. An excellent bus service.
The villa was clean, modern with everything you need. If you like a quiet, relaxed holiday, I highly recommend October, it was lovely and quiet, the beach was empty. The urbanization is gated so you feel very safe and it was lovely and quiet. I will be booking again.
Lovely apartment with roof to sit out on in the evening. It has a good coffee machine, working tv with usb inputs and even a pizza cutter. Good sized rooms and nearby swimming pools and shops. The bus from the airport stops just around the corner. We have stayed in a few places and this place is one of the best.
The duplex is located in an urbanization at the edge of Garrucha. Easy to reach (by car) and just a 10 minutes walk from a lovely beach. The house itself is equipped with all facilities we need on a holiday, like an oven, microwave and a modern coffee machine (Dolce Gusto). The beds were not perfect but good, but I actually never had really good beds in a holiday home. We did have to search for the extra linen (as we needed the spare bed for a third child).
What really amazed us was the rooftop terrace. It was recently covered with an artificial grass turf and this gives the terrace a luxurious look. I think most of the time we spent at the house was on the terrace, as it was cool in the morning and, provided you make sure there is enough shade, it was relaxing to spend siestas on the roof. Our evenings ended on the terrace, again, enjoying some nice wines.
We did not make use of the BBQ but it was there if you needed it.
The urbanization boasts two swimming pools, both with a life guard. Did not make use of it myself, but the kids really enjoyed it. The pools are fenced so no unwelcome visitors may enter and in addition it can keep out smaller children as the gate is only opening with an magnetic key.
The beach, as mentioned before on a walking distance, is a good one. I have visited many a beach in my life and this one I would recommend. Stretching for several miles and wide enough it was never really crowded. Some nice scenery with mountains left and right of the beach, nice waves provided some action if you want to swim. Furthermore there is a nice boulevard with more than enough palm trees to bring that real summer holiday feeling, in addition to the artificial (flat) 'dunes', also with grouped palm trees.
Supermarkets are only a couple minutes drive (Mercadona) and if you need just a couple of items you can also visit the small grocery store next to the urbanization. Can also recommend the Churrios stand at the main road near the urbanization if you want some really good (and cheap!) churrios.
There are enough places to visit in the region if you don't mind a good drive. We visited, among others, Murcia, a regional park with hiking routes in the Murcia area, a waterfall, Cartagena and Almeria. And there is more to discover yet, so James and Sharon, we might be back to enjoy another holiday in your great Casa Blanca! Thanks!
The listing description was spot on. It was easy to find, the layout was comfortable, clean and well maintained, very much a space that lent itself to a relaxing and enjoyable time. And, should you need them it has swimming pools, bars, restaurants and shops all close to hand. Plus, the owners are pretty good at communications if you have any queries / concerns and sorting.
In summary a great place to chill and I look forward to visiting again soon. It is definitely a place I would recommend to family and friends.
A bit more detail:
All facilities; swimming pools, the beach, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance (the furthest being no more than a 10 minute walk away, maybe 15 minutes if you're meandering). The larger swimming pool is great for an energetic swim and the smaller pools (2 minutes walk away) has walk in steps making it easy for those less steady on their feet or needing assistance.
Wifi facilities were available at local bars and restaurants. but is now installed at the villa, an excellent additional facility.
Should you get bored with the community near Casa Blanca there is the nearby town of Garrucha (20-25 minute promenade walk or 5 minute drive). This town offers a greater selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets and at least one market day (Friday). Or, a 10 minute drive away is Vera with similar additional facilities and an excellent restaurant for a special evening ‘Juan Morreno’ providing a good selection of traditional Spanish flavours with a modern twist. It was pricier, at around 20-30€ per head (two courses and wine) compared to around 15€ (or less) when eating out near Casa Blanca (I can recommend the Laguna restaurant looking out over the beach) or those in Garrucha.
The only slight negative is that I would classify it as a four person villa with some extra space / facilities for two. This is because the last two people have to use the lounge for sleeping. But hey, if the’re family or friends it’s no big deal.
Anyhow, all I can say to complete this review is, don’t take my word for it, book yourself in and make your own mind up on whether or not it is a fab place to visit.
a wonderful week in an area of. Spain. I hadn't been to before and absolutely
loved it. Have family in Gibraltar and Valencia and as such had never been to
costa Almeria before! Wher we stayed was very spanish and had markets on nearly
every day ( you need a car or have to take a bus to some of these ) and if like
me you love a good market you won't be disappointed.
The house itself was
perfect for us and my partner made good use of the pool every morning. The only
minor fault really is it could do with a bigger TV although because we didn't
use the TV much it forced us to go out and as a result we found a sports bar on
the beach front ( again i can't remember the name sorry ) but he got to see his
beloved Newcastle United and I enjoyed some more wine and beach fun.

February I expect it will be a lot more crowded in the summer months.
food everywhere we ate was really really good and I don't know if is because of
the time of year we went but it seemed to me to be a lot cheaper than costa del
sol, I will just have to go back in the summer and check it out ( ANY EXCUSE ) ,
Some bars still hold onto the traditional Spanish custom of FREE TAPAS IF
YOU ARE ORDERING DRINKS. One afternoon we took a drive to Almerimar to meet some
friends who have a place there and we sat for several hours in a lovely corner
bar overlooking the. Marina ( can't remember the name sorry ) I think it had a
blue and white awning, anyway a handful of beers each and a few bottles of wine
, we must have had 3 or 4 drinks each minimum ( who's counting ) a multitude of
different tapas chosen from the menu and WAIT FOR IT , the bill didn't even come
to 10 euros a head.
Mitch who met us was very welcoming and helped us source
a key for the pool after our one was playing up a bit on one of the days.
Look forward to returning here next summer.
We had a wonderful stay here earlier this year , great weather and a really relaxing time.
The Rooftop solarium was my favourite and I spent many an hour thereon topping up the tan and catching up on some reading.
Sadly our roof terrace didn’t have a BBQ and we had to endure the wonderful smell from someone else’s roof top so It would have been perfect if there was a BBQ but for now I can only give it a 9.5. out of 10. LOL.
The kitchen came well equipped and had everything we needed and being just 5 minutes walk from the beach was superb as it meant we could both have a drink – AND WE DID.
The pool was another great feature if you didn’t fancy the beach, it was very clean, very large and probably because of the time of year we went it was never too overcrowded.
I was a bit worried by the absence of air con but the ceiling fans did a very good job at keeping us cool.
We are hoping to go spring time again next year as it’s a bit too hot for us mid summer but I would highly recommend this as it has everything you need and more for a relaxing, chilled out week in the sun.
