Unser Ferienhaus am Champoeg in St. Paul, Oregon

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay in Cindy’s cabin. It is an old structure, with all the quaint character you’d expect from an old house. It was very clean and so nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped, including special touches such as coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, creamer in the fridge, a very thoughtful treat from the local bakery and a bowl of hazelnuts from their farm. The livingroom was very comfortable and has a flat screen with Apple TV, plus a fireplace that kept us warm. We stayed during an unusual cold snap (got down to 22 degrees Fahrenheit one night). Between the fireplace and the portable heaters we were able to stay warm. The heated mattress pad on the very comfortable bed helped, too. The bathroom is small, including the tub/shower, as you’d expect in such a small house, but served its purpose, and Cindy has it equipped with shampoo, liquid soap and other personal care items, again showing she really cares about her renters having a good experience. The location is rural but not too far from restaurants, wineries and the nearby towns. This property is truly beautiful (what a gorgeous sunset off the deck!) and we definitely would stay here again.
