A peaceful and relaxing week
I spent lots of time looking for the perfect place to stay for a week--and found it in this apartment. There is a balcony as well as many big windows so you get the feeling you are right out there with nature. You look out on big trees, plants, lots of green. We left all the blinds open the entire time and no one could see in. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable and heating worked well for those nippy evenings. Kim was readily available to us if we needed anything, but it seems she had already thought of everything. The Nespresso machine and 8 different kinds of coffee to try was a very special treat.
There was a park with pickleball courts (a new sport for us) less than a 5 minute walk away. The neighborhood is very nice and we never had to drive in heavy traffic. We drove an easy 10 minutes to a light rail station and just took the train wherever we wanted to go. Thank you, Kim!
We enjoyed our stay at Treetop! It was wonderful to look at the trees & greenspace- very calming! The kitchen was well-stocked & there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The electric baseboard heaters quickly warmed up the rooms when the weather became chilly. Kim was in touch with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed!
Lovely, private, quiet apartment
We stayed 3 nights here in this roomy apartment over the garage at this home in the hills south of the Sunset Hwy. It's got everything you need and more, like a Nespresso machine. It does not have cable, but we streamed network channels to our iPad with our own account, which a lot of people do nowadays. The wifi signal is just fine. We did watch Netflix (provided) on the TV one night. We walked down the hill to Raleigh Park one morning. It's a beautiful park, and so close. It's 10 minutes to Mingo, our favorite restaurant in Beaverton (right next to City Hall). This is a really nice place to stay, where you can cook your own meals and truly relax away from the hustle bustle of downtown. Yet it is very close. Highly recommend!
