Charming, dog-friendly studio
We are locals who were looking to escape the 4th of July fireworks in our neighborhood with a baby and two dogs. We loved this little studio. The neighborhood was quiet and scenic - great for a stroll with the pups. The studio was nicely renovated and we appreciated the snacks, dog treats, and patio furniture to sit outside with a bottle of wine. And Joe was very friendly and communicative. We greatly appreciated our stay in this dog-friendly place.
Absolutely loved the location!! Very friendly management, kept in contact when needed!! Highly reccomend!!
Cozy wooded sanctuary
This was a great place to stay! The bed is very comfortable. The owner, Joe was incredibly flexible and accommodating since I brought my lab with me. The proximity to restaurants, grocery, gas, etc was super and it was close to my sister's home. The dog and I went on walks and during one of them we saw 3 deer grazing along the street. If you are traveling to the area with you pet, this is a rare gem. I plan to come back in the future.
A gem of a place
And what a gem! We really enjoyed our stay, our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The studio had absolutely everything you would need for your stay. The location is beautiful, quiet and gives you the sense that you are off in the forest even though you are less than five minutes from the metropolitan market and downtown.
Our dogs loved the stay and were fascinated with the deer that wondered past the French doors in the evening. The area is perfect for walks and is very close to many parks and trails for those long “lets wear the dogs out” walks. The location is also minutes from the park and ride if you want to spend a day at pike place market.
We have family in the area and plane to stay here again when we come back up for our next visit. By the way, when we say they had everything you need for a great visit we also mean that from a dogs perspective too. So do yourself a favor and and enjoy a comfy relaxing stay with your four legged friends!
Wonderful secluded studio
We loved this little studio. It is small but very clean, cozy and quiet perfect for 2 people. Enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker and the snacks were nice. The bed was very comfortable too. The location is close to great shopping and Woodinville wine tasting. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
A beautiful piece of nature within minutes of Seattle and the surrounding cities.
I would highly recommend this to everyone who can comfortably fit into two double beds!!
I traveled with my son and his two young daughters (my perfect 2yr and 4yr granddaughters) eight hours Friday to attend my nieces wedding, which was on Sunday. We were tired and grumpy when we arrived.
However, on the short drive from the road, through the old growth trees and up to the French doors of the studio we started to rally and look forward to our stay.
Our first impression was of being welcomed to a safe and comfortable place. As we parked in front of the french doors, the first thing we saw was a beautiful crystal chandler, sparkling through the doors as dusk approached. So different than driving up to a hotel or motel.
Although the room we entered was only 350 sq,, it seemed much larger due to the creative way it was arranged. A draw curtain separated the bed from the rest of the room which included a "L" shaped couch that made into a double bed, a TV, a bistro table with two chairs, a full size refrigerator and an appliance tower with a Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave. Dishes, utensils, napkins and cleaning supplies were also available. The small bathroom had a shower, toilet, sink, scented hand soap, shampoo, cream rinse, soft towels and wash clothes and a hair dryer.
All of this seemed to say, "YOU ARE WELCOME... relax and enjoy your stay." And we did.
Since the pre-wedding activities included many different venues in many places, we were not only well located but the only one whose area seemed like being in the forest. It was close to everything and everyone and Seattle was only about 30 minutes to the west.
We enjoyed family, friends, the wedding and having a "little piece of Heaven" to come back to at the end of the day.
And the "frosting on the cake" was the host and hostess, who were warm, friendly, and quickly answered a text or call, but allowed us to have the space we wanted.
