Bali is my favorite place in the world and this home brought me right back! It’s so beautiful. The views of the sunsets are so special, we would watch them every night and paddle board during the day. There is a farmers market right across the street that was great for coffee and fresh fruit. The location is 10/10. The bay has manta rays that you can book a tour to see. Truly, the photos don’t do it justice. There are lots of little sandy hang outs and lookouts by the bay. As soon as you arrive, the plants and trees make it look and smell like its own tropical oasis. I spent lots of time walking around and looking at and enjoying them. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need and more. Two of the master suites and the 3rd upstairs room have AC, the rest have more of an open air feel with fans, which we didn’t mind, the weather in Kona made it perfect and you need to be okay with that when booking a Balinese style house, it’s special in that way. The main master suite is huge, with two massive walk in bathrooms for his and hers, and it is adjacent to the kitchen, so we woke up early and went about our day and napped in the AC when we needed a break (which was our daily routine in on the beach in the Big Island anyway). We got married here and It’s was the most beautiful, special moment here. It was dreamy and surreal. I wouldn’t want to celebrate anywhere else. Our group cannot wait to come back. What a lovely retreat.
