Loved looking out the living room window to the green space across the street accentuated by the famous Shuttlecock sculpture on the lawn of the Nelson. Great location with the Plaza and Brookside down the street and a short drive to Westport. The living space is very comfy and I really appreciated the sound machine in the bedroom to help mute the nighttime city sounds. We look forward to coming back and cooking in the kitchen and catching a bit of night sky from the rooftop. Parking was the only challenge with a full sized truck so we'll bring our Honda next time. . Thanks Kat!!
Close to shopping, restaurants, Nelson Atkins museum, Ewing & Muriel Kauffman Gardens and easy access to highways. Worked out great as my husband golfed two days so I was able to walk every where. Rooftop deck has a wonderful view and is a perfect spot for happy hour or sunsets. Gorgeous apartment Kat! Very nicely furnished and a well stocked kitchen. We'll be back.
Kat's apartment is fantastic. My boyfriend and I went for a 3-day weekend and this place was perfect. It is next to the Museum of Art (which is free). It's very close to the Country Club Plaza if you want to shop till you drop. It is a few minutes from Joe's BBQ, the best Kansas City BBQ spot. Only a few minutes from the City Market, and Power and Lights district. The apartment had everything we needed, even toothpaste, which we forgot to bring with us. Highly recommend for a couple's getaway.
This location was fantastic...two blocks from the world famous Country Club Plaza, steps to the Nelson Atkins Museum, minutes from Brookside/Crestview shopping villages, and a short distance to Westport. Good food and many activities are at your doorstep. We had our car but public transportation, banking facilities, supermarkets, and delicious restaurants are all near by. You can have it all and in a homey atmosphere. We have stayed many many times on the Plaza and wanted to try something different. We searched VRBO and came up with this delightful hideaway near everything we enjoy in Kansas City. The accommodations were superb, all the amenities, well stocked supplies for everything you need while away, cheerful and clean. We were well informed on the procedures to enter the property and had easy contact with the owner for any additional questions or concerns. Would rate this an A+++. Definitely will reserve this gem again.
Fantastic place to stay, a home from home! Very cosy and warm considering the December temperatures. Fantastic location for the plaza area. I really wouldn't stay in a hotel, this is far nicer and our friends payed considerably more for an average well know hotel chain.
My husband and I really enjoyed our five night stay. The condo was cute, cozy, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The entire condo was extremely well stocked. Great location. Within walking distance to The Country Club Plaza.
We were a tad apprehensive about the parking situation but we ended up always being able to find a spot to park on either Oak or Emanuele Cleaver Blvd. I would however, suggest trying to park on Oak first because it is easier to cross when walking to the condo.
We would definitely stay here again and also recommend it without hesitation to our friends.
