Spent the first week of my honeymoon in this apartment and fell in love with Rome!
After the hectic build up to and day of the wedding myself and my new husband(!) were having second thoughts about spending a week in a busy city but how wrong were we...steps from the hustle and bustle in a quiet side street is the "perfect apartment".
Carla met us on arrival and couldn't have been nicer giving us a quick run down of the local area and best place for first night dinner so we didn't have to think too much as we were both bleary eyed.
Couldn't say enough about the interior..comfortable huge bed ,luxurious bathroom and excellent kitchen living area.We didn't cook in any night but kitchen full equiped to do so.
We spent the week exploring the city and would stop at any of the local restaurants on the way home and then amble back to the apartment full of culture and great food and wine.
Our only problem was having to leave as we had convinced ourselves that we were locals and felt like it by the end of the week!
The best bit about leaving is the thoughts of returning so we have booked another week in July to see the city in the summer....can't wait..

I have never written a review before but I came on a sightseeing trip with my 3 teenage children and we had a fantastic time with this apartment as our base. Everything is on your doorstep: Piazza Navona; Campo dei Fiori; Trastevere. The apartment is bright, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. With AC, wifi and even a lift all our needs were met. There are so many shops and restaurants nearby and a Spar just around the corner where you can grab any essentials you might want. This is the best apartment I've stayed in in Rome and we will definitely be coming back. There's always more to see and do!
This apartment was perfect for our family. We loved being steps from Piazza Navona and a short walk from most of the best sites in historic Rome, including the Vatican and Castelo Saint Angelo. The apartment is modern, quiet, and well-equipped with a lift and an A/C, even if we didn't need it. The square right next to this apartment has a quintessential Roman coffee shop with delicious pastries and a well-stocked grocery store, as well as many great bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying here again next year.
We rented this wonderful apartment because we have family in Rome, but sometimes prefer to stay in the heart of historic Rome. The location is idyllic! You are on a charming old side street (not to be underestimated in a loud city), easy walking distance to my favorite parts of the city: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Farnese, Campo de' Fiori, Trastevere, Castel Sant Angelo, and beautiful walks along the Tevere. You'll feel like a Roman walking through the gorgeous labyrinth of streets in the neighborhood.
It is also extremely convenient. There are caffes on either side of the short street. There are endless charming trattorie and ristorantes. Great location for nightlife as Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere are the epicenters! This is our favorite neighborhood for dining al fresco (outside), as you have charming side streets without the loud traffic (rare). There are also a lot beautifully distracting shops that you pass on your way to your next destination.
The apartment itself is fantastic and extremely comfortable. The owners have thought of every convenience: air conditioning, good Italian coffee, plenty of guidebooks, a stereo, music, TV. It is setup so you can settle right in. The bathroom is very modern and nicely renovated and the shower is much nicer than most Roman showers. They also have an elevator and washing machine for your clothes. We stayed with our two children, and it was spacious and accommodating. It is well designed and very comfortable. We slept really really well. I'd say the apartment is much brighter than the pictures show.
We absolutely loved this apartment - it's fantastic! The location is right in the heart of Rome, in a great neighborhood that feels Roman and not too touristy. The streets around the apartment have so much on offer as regards wonderful shops, bars, restaurants..... and it genuinely feels like this is where real Romans live, while being minutes away from Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore and all the historic sights. The apartment itself is gorgeous - modern and wonderfully decorated. What really sets it apart though is that it has a few key things - it is quiet (you hear no noise from the streets outside), it has reliable internet and it has A/C!! The A/C is SO IMPORTANT if you are visiting Rome in the summertime. The apartment is on the second floor so there are not too many steps but it has a lift/elevator which is really useful if you've lots of luggage or if you are older or have any kind of mobility issues. There also space to store a stroller downstairs and it has a pack-n-play crib and kids toys which were so useful to have. There are three convenience stores (including a great Spar supermarket) within 2 minutes walk of the apartment, so this is very handy if you want to have some food or drink at home. The agent for the house - Carla - was just wonderful as she provides so much orientation and help to you as regards planning of your trip, ideas, making dinner reservations or whatever help you may need.
This large (by Rome standards) apartment has tall ceilings and plenty of light from windows in every room. The kitchen and furnishings are comfrotable. Be aware that you have to provide your own handsoap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. Luckily, there is a grocery store down the block where you can buy everything you need. The location, across from Chiesa Nuova, is the best in Rome--midway between Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. Everything in Centro Storico is within walking distance. If not walking, there is a taxi stand and bus stop at the end of Via Cartari. Carla was very helpful in getting us directions to places beyond our walking area. Don't bother to bring guide books, the apartment has plenty (even if they are a bit out-dated). Romans' favorite pizzaria, da Baffetto, is 5 blocks away on Governo Vecchio--amid many other dining choices and boutiques. My husband walked half a block to L'Artigiano E Emanuele (has a NUOVA GESTIONE sign above the door) on Corso Vittoria Emanuele for double cappuccino and cornetto takeaway for breakfast everyday. They also sell gelato, pastries and sandwiches and are very friendly. We've stayed in hotels in our prior visits to Rome, but we will try to stay here again when we return. It was a great place to come home to after long days of walking. And you get used to walking up to the third floor. Only problem: someone rang our downstairs bell every morning between 8 and 8:30. Also, while you don't hear street noise, you do hear other residents speaking in the light wells (and dogs and babies).
