I went with my family, but don't normally go in for 'sedate' family holidays so I was worried I would get bored sitting by a pool all day. However, if you're keen on sports, there's no shortage of activities to keep you occupied without having to venture far - tennis at the club, a great golf course, brilliant runs along coastal paths, swimming in the secluded coves. I would have loved to have tried horse riding too. There's also the nearby water park (definitely for children of all ages!) but take lots of sun cream. Of course if that all sounds too energetic, there's nothing better than relaxing with a book and a bottle of Super Bock in the evening sun to the smells of a BBQ!

With my family I've stayed in many villas across Europe, and found this one to surpass expectation. Not only is the accommodation at least as good as described, I'd say it is understated by the owners. The number of people that can be accommodated is as described, which makes a pleasant change from many claimed capacities!
The entire villa was spotless, well maintained and kitted out to a standard I've not encountered.
All the thought is there to ensure you don't need to worry about what to bring or buy; including a handsome welcome pack.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa, its great pool, and all the restaurants, beaches and other facilities nearby.
What a great place.

What a great villa for a family holiday. We stayed with our three children and their grandparents – plenty of room for everyone, a bathroom for everyone and rooms for the children which were lovely and quiet and away from the action (for those necessary siestas). The villa has a great pool and patio area bathed in sunshine all day long and lots of toys and inflatables to enjoy in the pool too.

As a family with young children we found that the villa was so well equipped that it became a game to try and think of something that wasn’t provided – we couldn’t come up with anything! With the villa offering us everything we needed, including beach towels and parasols, our luggage requirements were greatly reduced. The welcome pack is very generous and means you can go straight from the airport to the villa and start your holiday.

The restaurant recommendations were helpful. We found the villa to be well located for the beach in the day but particularly well located for restaurants which we could get to quickly and easily in the evening and who were happy to accommodate children.

I have had six years of holidaying at Casa das flores and hope to holiday there lots more. The villa is beautiful, well equipped and situated within easy reach of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. The villa also overlooks a 9 hole golf course so no large buildings obscure the lovely views. Portugal I love and cannot think of a nicer place to stay.

It really is a home from home in every respect - from well equipped kitchen to the huge range of books & games to keep everyone happy!
The location is fantastic - close to beach, shops & golf course ... yet is blissfully peaceful
Everything in the property is extremely well maintained, inside & out, including beautiful gardens at front & back.
There's also plenty of parking tucked away at the back of the property.
I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to visit this area of the Algarve

We have returned to Casa das Flores on several occasions, bringing family and friends as we have been so delighted with the property.

It is very well maintained and comfortable and there is so much space that even with 9 or 10 people it does not feel at all crowded. The new kitchen is better equipped than ours at home, and the whole place is spotlessly clean.

The outside space is huge with a large swimming pool, and there are lots of options for sitting in the shade or in the sun.

The villa is located in a very peaceful area, but you can walk to local shops, restaurants and down to the beach. The proximity to the local golf course was a bonus for the men in our party, and provided some entertainment for those watching from the large roof terrace. The property is ideally located for exploring the Algarve coastline, and local towns such as Silves. The waterpark nearby is a great day out for children.

The welcome pack on arrival is very helpful as we usually arrive late in the evening. During our stay we tend to alternate between BBQs (there are a couple of good supermarkets a short drive away) and eating out, checking in the visitors book for restaurant recommendations from other guests.

I would definately recommend Casa Das Flores as a fantastic base for a holiday to the Algarve, and I am sure that we will return in the future.

Really enjoyed our holiday in Portugal which was definitely enhanced by the fantastic accomodation. Plenty of room for our large family(7) to spread out as well as come together around the meal table. The pool was a real success, always beautifully clean and well looked after. We particularly enjoyed using the bbq by the pool. The villa was immaculately clean and well appointed. I have never stayed in a villa where there has been wine in the kitchen for us to drink and replace at our leisure.

We enjoyed the local facilities especially local restaurants and the ice-cream parlour! We found that people were very friendly and really helpful.

Excellent holiday enjoyed by all the family including grand children and grandparents.

It truly is an incredible villa. There is so much more to it than you can ever hope to see in the photos provided here. the roof terrace provides a fantastic vista over the golf course and is perfect for romantic evenings with one, two or a few bottles of wine. The pool is a joy to behold, was beautifully warm and rarely unoccupied by us while we were there! the kitchen is ridiculously well appointed, and provides all you'll ever need in there, more so than being at home. The bedrooms are superb, and having so many bathrooms to chose from is luxury indeed. In fact the whole place was immaculate when we arrived, but messier after we had consumed the welcome pack of food! (which we thought was a lovely touch)
It was also great to know that there was always someone there at the end of the phone if we had any issues while we were there. As it happened we didn't need to contact anyone, but it's nice to know that we could have done.
We have already recommended this fabulous place to friends of ours, and have been out to stay with them when they booked the place. Perhaps a little cheeky, but we were so proud of the place we had found here!!
The owners recommendation of local restaurants was also a refreshing change from the normal types of place you might stay, and impressive to be able to mention the villa owner, and have the resautant owner know exactly who you are talking about. It's almost as if the owner is regarded as a local.
In summary, this is an incredible place, we will be back, and we would thoroughly recommend that you book it too, before all the available weeks are snapped up by us!!
