This was our 2nd trip to Casa Das Flores and once again we weren't disappointed. The welcome pack has everything you would need for you first evening in the villa so there is no need to rush out to the supermarket with all the other first day shoppers. You can walk to the beach (umberella, buckets and spades provided) and enjoy snorkeling, Banana Boats, Pedalos and sun bathing or just relax by the pool. Isabel & Tanya (Cleaners) are so helpful & friendly and remembered us from 3 years before. You can walk to a number of local restaurants or take a short drive to the town for a variety of evening meals. The 4 kids aging from 7 to 15 were never bored. They could take time out and watch Sky TV and the boys could even keep up to date with the football or they were playing in the pool with all the toys provided, walking to the shop or getting us to walk them to the beach. You feel safe and secure with the lockable front gate and alarm and the men could play golf whenever lounging around got too much for them.
I will be recommending this villa to all my friends and family and will definately be back on our next trip to The Algarve

Even those most attached to the term 'workaholic' are able to relax here. A week is enough to leave you nothing to think about other than the blue sky, locations of the best local restaurants and the turns of the tide.

The villa is equipped with everything you need to reach nonchalance. I can almost guarantee that you will have taken too much with you in preparation for a self catering holiday. The local supermarket coupled with a whole host of recommended local restaurants to explore, reasonably priced food is not a problem.

The local beaches are fantastic, the beach within walking distance of the villa, Centianes, is superb as rocks just covered by the tide and the high cliffs rising either side make it a little more interesting than the long flat beaches of Alvor. A little further a field you will find the beaches just west of Sagres on the Atlantic coast. Whilst this is not suitable for small children to paddle about in, if you are a keen surfer or swimmer looking to brave the powerful waves of the Atlantic and with a chiselled coast as a backdrop, this is the place for you.

A pack of cards (provided) got us through those evenings where it was difficult to lift anything other than a beer.

Casa Das Flores will not fail to disappoint, an excellent base for the whole stretch of the Algarve and perfect for staying in & enjoying only the gentle breeze and sunshine.

Having been to the Casa das Flores once before we knew that this was a villa that had everything on our wish list for a perfect 10 day break. Lovely swimming pool that really was kept at a lovely warm even temperature that made our early morning swims a delight . Perfect location,opposite the golf course and within a 10 minute stroll of the beach and a 20 minute walk into town ,( we like our holidays to be a car free zone and the Casa das Flores is perfectly placed for that. The villa has lovely gardens and is well equipped with sun beds, beach towels, sun loungers, barbecues- all we needed was the sun and that has never failed us yet in Carvoiero.
After some bleak English weather we arrived at the Casa das Flores rather late in the evening , tired and hungry, we needn't have worried, the welcome pack was so generous we didnt leave the villa for two days! The wine rack was full and the fridge topped up with lovely fresh supplies.
Just before our holiday was due to end we heard that the ash cloud that has disrupted so many flights was back , at this point our host rang to say we could stay in the villa if our flight was cancelled so we were not to worry about it at all.This was a generous gesture that took away our anxiety and indeed when our flight was cancelled a few days later we just remained at the villa until we could get home .
Gareth and Jane Cade, the owners of the villa, would not take any re- imbursment for the extra days we stayed in their lovely villa which was an extremely kind gesture on their part and much appreciated. We were not suprised by this however as their thoughtfulness is obvious by the way the villa is equipped and maintained , every attention to detail is perfect. We cannot recommend it highly enough so go there you wont be disappointed

A wonderful getaway in a superb location. We enjoyed a family holiday in this superb villa equipped with everything you need.
The villa is one one level and which is great for the kids with a beautiful pool area and great pool.
The villa is only minutes away from all the bars and restaurants and there are plenty of taxis.
I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting this area.

What an AMAZING villa!!

So much bigger in real life than the photos show and plenty of living space, even if the weather isn't too good.

The kitchen is actually better than the new one we've just had at home and everything you could possibly need is in there.

We loved taking advantage of the brill BBQ areas and of course the heated pool! An added bonus is the provision of towels - saves so much space in your suitcase!

We will definately be returning and telling all our friends and family what a find this place is!

Pretty much everything about this villa is wonderful, but the thing that I appreciate the most is being able to turn up and start your holiday the moment you walk through the door; with a welcome pack and (superb!) wine system all ready to ease you into a state of relaxation.

I've been a few times and I just keep going back, which must tell you something.

I'm sure it would be possible to use the villa as a base for an activity-based holiday, but I've only ever been there to relax, and the villa, location and weather have never failed to deliver on this score (although I'm sure the weather isn't entirely down to the owners). On my last visit to the villa there were members of the group who left the villa only once in 10 days, they were living by (and in!) the pool. And then in the evenings it was only a short walk to the barbeque – and I must just say I think the barbeque chimney is a very rare thing indeed: a tool that does a job better than you expected. There are a variety of restaurants in the area, with some within walking distance of the villa, but we ate in (a combination of kitchen and bbq cooking) every night except one, and found the villa to be perfectly suited for this too.

And finally, I think it’s worth mentioning that you really do feel that if there was any constructive criticism of the villa the owners would take it on board and do everything they could to deal with it. Unfortunately I’ve never been able to come up with anything in this regard!

Having just spent a week at Casa das Flores I can’t recommend it highly enough. The villa is very comfortable and spacious and comes with a very well equipped kitchen. Much appreciated were the little touches such as board games, books, bottles of wine and the welcome pack. The poolside terrace is a real sun trap and the pool itself is lovely after a few hours of intensive tanning! The villa is only a few minutes drive (or not too far a walk for those feeling energetic) from numerous restaurants and Carvoeiro itself. A great local restaurant is Chicken George while O Barabas is fantastic, as long as you are prepared to travel slightly further afield.

A fabulous villa with excellent facilities. Villa was clean and tidy and extremely well equipped, we especially liked the American fridge/freezer and use of beach towels, which meant less to pack! The welcome pack was very generous and enjoyed by all. The pool temperature was just right - not too hot, not too cold. We had a fabulous 2 week stay at Casa Das Flores. Restaurants we would recommend would be Julios (within walking distance), Via Italia in central Carveiro and O'Salmao in Monte Carveiro. Would highly recommend this villa.
