Clean and Cozy
I have a vrbo in Missoula (303559) and love the small, quaint town of Philipsburg. For the literary, Richard Hugo wrote a wonderful poem about this town called "Degrees of Gray in Philipsburg", and if he were alive today, would write it different. Still, the town offers a myriad of wonders, all which take you back to a place in Montana history where hardship was a living, and the comforts of life were what kept you warm and moving forward. The town reinvented has a new brewery which is a delight, and the young brew master will gladly show you the process of fine handcrafted beer; an amazing candy store, great gem shops where you can buy gravel and potentially find the sapphire of a lifetime--literally; as well as a multitude of shops...If you are a fisherman, skier, or just want to step back in time, I would recommend this place and this home. The owner, Cindy was friendly and helpful in every way. Proximity to town was the primary feature for me...As you can tell, I plan on going back!
