THEY DID MY LAUNDRY EVERY DAY!! OK, that is the most important detail for me! Honestly, this condo at The Grand Caribe was perfect for my family of four. It was clean, totally quiet, with beautiful views yet very private. Prior to my arrival, all my questions were answered within a couple of hours via email from the delightful owner. The Grand Caribe offers anything, everything you would want...or they stay out of your hair if you prefer. They would go pick up our grocery list and be back within an hour. The location is perfect, the perfect (short) distance from town. We rented a golf cart for the whole time and enjoyed a mix of scheduled tours and our own adventures. (P.S. Cave tubing is not all its cracked up to be - a gigantic tourist melee) The food in Belize - from the coolers and grills on the side of the road to the nicest restaurants - is amazing. The spirit of the country cannot be described. Friendly, safe, loving, so happy, peaceful. Is there a limit on how much I can write??

We have rented several condos in various tropical destinations and this one was more than we had previously experienced or expected. We thought it was an excellent value for the price and the entire property was in top condition... it was like brand new. We were told that it was built about four years ago. The staff was very friendly and helpful... they treated us like we were family… I’m not kidding.

The condo itself was larger than expected, had a great floor plan, large kitchen and bath spaces and a great view of the pool area and the ocean from the balcony. We used the kitchen to prepare about half of our meals and found everything we needed as far as cookware, utensils and kitchen gadgets. Though they sell bottled water in the lobby, I drank the filtered water and used the ice from the door of the full size refrigerator and had no problems.

My wife and I are quite particular about the cleanliness of the rooms when we travel. The maids here are fantastic and this is probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed. When we were out on the balcony in the morning we could see the maids collecting blossoms from plants around the property and later in the day find these same blossoms strategically placed inside the condo. Nice touch.

The Condo was Beautiful even nicer than the pictures !!! We arrived to a beautiful display of flowers, and nicely decorated bedrooms and bathrooms. the staff were awesome.
The owers of our condo were very friendly, answering many of our questions and gave us great advice about what to do and what not to do in Belize. The landscape was very appealing and well mantained.

The accommodation was truly superior and the staff at Grand Caribe were exceptional. We were right on the beach with easy access to San Pedro by water taxi and great local restaurants. We even had good fishing off the pier. I would recommend this accommodation to all travellers.

A great place to hang out in San Pedro. The bed was comfy lots of space in the condo - nice view of the ocean. Everything you ever wanted in a vacation home. We loved the staff at this place they were super friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

The condo was exceptional. Tastefully decorated with local art; beautiful expansive kitchen thoroughly updated. Ceiling fans keep the condo cool. Televisions and wi-fi if you want to remain in-touch. The main pool was exceptional and massive. The front desk staff were always helpful. The condo was kept immaculately clean with daily service. The concierge was quite helpful.

There were supposed to be kayaks; we were told they were damaged and replacements not received yet. If kayaking matters, it would be worth checking before you go.

This condo has exceptional view of the ocean, but you can not see the sunrise from the deck. Its a very short walk to the beach and dock to see the gorgeous hues.

This condo is walkable to town. But its a hike. We rented a golf cart one day. Took taxi's to town for a special dinner. Taxi ride costs seem to depend on weather. It was more expensive in rain than it was on a nice day at the beginning of the trip. You would be well served to rent a cart if you plan on going to town more than a time or two. Water taxi's come every 2 hours.

Amigo del mar, the best dive shop I've ever used, picks up at the dock.

The bar is mediocre. During our trip no one came around to our beach chairs to offer drinks. The wait staff for breakfast was not pleasant on either day we ate there. The food was fine, but just fine. The single beverage we had from the bar was ok, but the person making it was irritated at a customer who had called so was not very friendly. We didn't go back. The bar could make more money if they would be pleasant to the guests and make an effort.

Except for the bar, this is an exceptional location and we will return over and over again. Highly recommend.

Thank you for renting us your Belize dream home for the week. It's decorated beautifully. What a delight when we were greeted with the flowers and palms on the beds and around the condo. The front bedroom with view of the pools and reef is spectacular. My brother Bill and Kate won the coin toss and got that room first. On Wednesday Walt and I moved to the front room. The staff members were all friendly and helpful.

e liked the restaurants you suggested and also had a lovely Friday night dinner with live music at Capricorn.
