We recently returned from our week at this exceptional house. The pictures and description really do not do it justice. The owners maintain and take pride in this house and it shows. The house is ideally located on the island, and on Nevis, nothing is too far away. (We had a car, and I would recommend it for ease of travel during your stay). The owners go out of their way to arrange and take care of anything you want and along with their recommendations for things to do, places to see, where to eat, made our stay a truly memorable and awesome experience. The house itself is spacious, immaculate, and ideal for families or anyone who wants their privacy without isolation. We enjoyed the outdoor dining area, patio and pool every chance we could. The grounds are meticulously kept and afford you space to enjoy the outdoors on Nevis. The people on the island are warm and helpful. I would have to say, if you are looking for "action and excitement" afforded by other caribbean destinations loaded with duty free and cruise ships, this is not the place for you. It is a destination to get away from it all (while still having wi-fi and tv). It is truly a place untouched by so much of the boom and bust the caribbean has seen. A step back in time when islands were an escape from the world, not major toursit destination. I highly recommend Haven in the Sun (Paradise on Earth actually) to anyone who believes they are looking for that idyllic island vacation. Thanks to the owners for their attention and caring making this a most special vacation!

Spent a week this November on the beautiful, relaxing island of Nevis. This lovely home was a nice surprise . The photos just don't do it justice. David and Anne were most gracious hosts. They arranged transportation from the ferry, stocked the refrigerator with breakfast essentials,and had a rental car delivered to the house before I ever arrived. It made the time we spent there so easy and I very much appreciated all the trouble they went to. This home has a wonderful garden/yard, and we watched monkeys walk the fence every morning while we enjoyed our coffee and relaxed by the pool. The neighborhood is upscale and safe. Centrally located, and just a few minutes drive to Airport, Charleston and Pinney Beach .

We returned to stay at Haven in Sun for a second time after staying at the house for one week in 2011 and having a fantastic time. We loved the house, pool, garden and its location so much that we returned for 4 weeks this time!
We have 2 young boys who were very comfortable in the room with bunk beds and an additional bed and their own TV to watch. The house is spotlessly clean and the pool and garden very well kept with regular visits from the gardeners and pool cleaners.
The house is very homely with everything anyone could need including cable TV/dishwasher/washing machine/iron/wi-fi/ an island phone that can easily be topped up and even has 2 bikes.
We loved eating in the outside dining room looking out across the garden with views over to St Kitts. The whole house is completely mosquito proof with mosquito netting on every door and window. We felt very secure in the house and found all the neighbours to be very friendly.
Rita, the house keeper, left us groceries in the fridge when we arrived and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. The house is a 10 minute walk down to a quiet, peaceful, calm sandy beach which we had to ourselves most of the time. We caught the local buses to other nearby beaches within 10 minutes drive away and also easily accessed supermarkets in Charlestown 10 minutes drive away. This house is perfect for a family holiday or for a group holidaying together.
The photos cannot really show how lovely this house and its garden and pool really are. Anne and David, the house owners, were in regular contact and made the process of renting/payment very easy and straight forward. We love this house and hope to return again in the future.

The home felt very comfortable, a home away from home. All transportation was kindly arranged so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Would definitely return to Haven in the Sun which certainly lives up to its name!

If you are looking for a beautiful home in a safe and convenient location on Nevis, then you should look no further. We vacationed with another couple (all of us in our 30's) and absolutely loved our stay at Haven in the Sun. From our first contact with the owners, to planning, to transportation details, to a fond farewell, you couldn't have asked for more. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure you have a flawless stay. The home is very nicely appointed with just about anything you could need. She even goes as far as to have first day groceries in the house. Now that's a nice touch! Her on site coordinator, Rita is always available for any questions you may have and gives you a nice tour of the home and explains your surroundings. I am an extremely particular traveler and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. From reading my kindle on the back porch in the mornings, to watching the monkeys play, to enjoying the amazing view from your own private pool-I was in Heaven. I (and the rest of my group) were so sad when we left. This is the house to book in Nevis-the customer service and accommodations are fantastic. Convenient to many beaches-less than a 5 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride and to many of the fantastic restaurants. Bananas & Golden Rock were our two favorites. (Check out Chrishi Beach for an amazing lunch and trendy outdoor dining venue)

My wife and two children recently enjoyed our first Caribbean holiday and could not have chosen either a better island, better home or better hosts. The island itself is a real delight with plenty of wonderful beaches and great places to eat and things to keep adults and children happy. The house itself is perfect for a family with wonderful views and all the amenities needed included a terrific pool to laze and play in. Out hosts were absolutely terrific and really went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after from the moment we landed on Saint Kitts, though the transfer to Nevis and on to the house itself. They managed things wonderfully ahead of time and checked in to make sure everything was going well on arrival. Truly wonderful and helped to make this a real stand out vacation,

Haven in the Sun was a spectacular experience. The house delivered as promised and the owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. My two teenage girls enjoyed the pool immensely, the afternoon visits by the monkeys and the Wi-Fi access. A bright, new IGA close by makes grocery shopping a breeze with most recognized brands available in all categories. Just minutes from the beach, guests of Haven in the Sun have easy access to miles of un-crowded beaches with complementary beach chairs and umbrella provided by the owner.
Nevis is stunning. Haven in the Sun is a very comfortable home away from home and well situated for easy access to everything you would want on a vacation. We did not want to leave. We all fell under the Nevis spell.
