Traumhafte Lage, völlig einsam und doch nur 1 km nach Orosei, wo man von der Eisdiele (traumhaftes Eis!) bis zu guten Restaurants und gut sortieren Supermärkten alles findet, was man so braucht. Die Strände im Umfeld bieten für jeden etwas, so z. B. Capo Comino für Schnorchler oder die Strände von Orosei und Cala Gonone (z. B. Cartoe), wo man von einsamer Lage bis Strandbar und Bootsverleih alles findet. Mobil sollte man allerdings sein.
Für Motorradfahrer wie uns ist Sardinien sowieso die Spielwiese schlechthin.

Das Haus glänzt durch die Mixtur aus rustikaler Bauweise, schöner Landhausstil-Einrichtung und moderner Technik. Zuverlässig warmes Wasser (kein Trinkwasser, aber sauber), Spülmaschine, Staubsauger, Internet per SIM-Card (UMTS mit guter Datenrate) usw.

Die Terrasse bietet durch die Pergola, die mit Sonnensegeln bespannt ist, nicht nur Sonnenschutz, sondern auch Regenschutz - selbst wenn das in Sardinien nur selten nötig ist. Dort kann man tagsüber die vielen Eidechsen und nachts die Geckos beobachten.
Das Haus hat an allen Schlafzimmern Fliegengitter sowie Decken- und Standventilatoren für schwüle Nächte.
Die Küchenausstattung ist ziemlich komplett (bis hin zum Pürierstab).

Das Obergeschoss mit bis zu 3 Betten ist auch für Erwachsene geeignet, wenn sie den Kopf etwas einziehen. Ich mit meinen 1,85 m hatte kein Problem - zwischen den Sparren konnte ich problemlos stehen.

Meine Freunde und ich waren nicht zum letzten mal dort.

Wir haben 10 schöne ruhige Tage in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Landhaus verbracht. Der Besitzer hat uns persönlich freundlich empfangen und detailliert mit unserem Feriendomizil vertraut gemacht. Der Kontakt mit ihm war schon vor unserer Anreise unkompliziert, wir fühlten uns gut betreut und mit all unseren Fragen gut aufgehoben. Leider kann man den Weg zum Strand und in den Ort nicht zu Fuß zurücklegen,so wie wir das nach den km-Angaben im Online-Inserat zunächst annahmen. In unserer Reisezeit konnten wir die schöne Terrasse nur tagsüber nutzen, weil es abends sehr schnell ziemlich kalt wurde.
Die Bucht von Orosei hat uns mit ihren tollen Stränden zu langen Strandspaziergängen gelockt, die Nähe zum Naturpark Gennergentu ermöglicht die Erkundung der höchsten Berge Sardiniens zu Fuß, mit dem Moutainbike und dem Auto, auf das man in dieser Gegend nicht verzichten sollte.
Für Menschen, die die Abgeschiedenheit suchen und sich in der Natur erholen wollen, ist dieses Landhaus prima geeignet.

My husband and I spent three weeks in Berritta during last Christhmas Holidays with our three dogs. It is a quiet place and the house is comfortable even in winter, thanks to the fireplace. The furniture are a mix Ikea and Sardinian style. The kitchen is well equipped, and the two bedrooms are good for two couples. The upstairs beds are more suitable for children for the roof is short, as you can see from pictures.
In the estate there are working peasants, who twice a day pass by with their cars (two or three, hardly more), and animals nurtured (far from the house), consider if these two things can bother you in case you travel with your dog, like us. Furthermore remember you are in the country and rats are common so we suggest taking care about rat poison and rattraps that are used outside and inside. Rat-poison is lethal for dogs if eaten.
As we had a black out at Christmas night for we used lights and oven together, we suggest not using the oven at night (the owner quickly solved the problem). Anyway the owner will explain you everything about how to restart power and to open the entrance gate, in case of black out.
Inside the house you will find a useful booklet with instructions and suggestions about the life at Berritta and Orosei. Among the several things there are also instructions about the separate collection of rubbish. As written, rubbish must be brought separated to the collection centre by car, but you can ask help to the cleaning lady (tips are appreciated). An ecological goal reached also in Sardinia!
If you are going to rent the house for a long holiday, as we did, we suggest checking with the owner the gas levels in the cylinders outside, just to prevent remaining without while cooking or having a shower.
We have only one thing to complain about: the cleanness. We found that the house was not so clean as we expected and as the owner demanded. As we had dogs we were properly requested to pay particular attention to cleanness, and we did.
As you can easily understand these are all our personal suggestions based upon our personal experience in the house and our lifestyle.

This is one of the nicest vacation homes I stayed in, ever. The house felt very cosy, we were at home from the first day on. The house has everything you need, also a nice kitchen (we love to cook). We also loved the authentic style of the house.
Also the location is very nice. The house is situated in a small, secluded valley and it's very quiet there.
The beaches are not too crowded, even in August, and they are all beautiful with cristal clear water, perfect for snorkeling.

Thank you for a wonderful week in Berritta! We had a geat time with beatiful weather and gorgeous scenery. We will tell all our friends about your lovely house so hopefully they can enjoy it too!

What a lovely and relaxing time we had at peaceful Berritta and Orosei!

We had a wonderful time this week. Berritta quickly felt like home... we loved every minute!

We were very pleased to find that Birritta was as beautiful (and perhaps even more so) as it looks in the web site photos. The house was spacious, clean and complete with all the amenities that you would want at a vacation home including luxurious sheets and towels as well as a modern kitchen with dishwasher and a separate laundry area. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, stunning beach outings, all levels of hikes and vigorous mountain bike rides. The nearby town of Orosei offers great ice cream and pizza (which our 9 and 11y/olds loved) as well as convenient grocery shopping. We were very pleased with our choice to rent Birritta and our children fell in love with the property and all of the areas it offers for kids to play in. We would highly recommend it to our friends for a romantic get-away or a family vacation and we warmly look forward to a return visit soon.
