perfekter Urlaub in perfektem Appartement

Wir haben heuer im Frühjahr ein paar Tage in diesem wunderschönen Appartement verbracht. Das Appartement hat sehr hohe Räume und spiegelt den Charme eines Altbaus wieder. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die perfekte Lage am Ende der Fußgängerzone, sodass wir während dem gesamten Aufenthalt kein Auto oder öffentliches Verkehrsmittel gebraucht haben. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Close to Old Town, but a bit noisy

Beautiful inside, but outside was off-putting. A bus stop at the front door may be convenient, but provided interesting conversation to overhear late at night. There is construction nearby that is also noisy. When this is complete, the apartment may be more desireable. Nevertheless, you are sure to feel safe, as four locks secure the door. Once in the apartment, you may appreciate its antique feel, though this quality is not captured by the photographs online. The interior had some upscale features, including hardwood floors and high ceilings. Bath is small, with only a shower, similar to many places in Europe. The owner is very nice and helpful. Pay at the meter parking is on a busy street, but there is a garage in the mountain a block away. The beautifully charming Maribel Gardens are a 15-minute walk away.

Beautiful Location, Very Spacious

We spent two nights in this apartment in Salzburg and it was a wonderful stay! The apartment is only five to ten minutes away from the Old Town and a very easy walk to wonderful shopping, museums, and the Mirabell Gardens. We would definitely recommend this apartment!
We traveled with our three children (6,4,1) and this apartment fit our needs wonderfully. The rooms are very spacious. We had plenty of space to spread out. The stats say there are three bedrooms, and the description says two bedrooms. There are two bedrooms and a living room area. The living room area apparently has a pull out sofa bed, but we didn't use it. The other beds were very comfortable and the comforters were very warm!
The hardwood floors were charming and a lot nicer than cold tile. The WiFi worked great, although make sure you ask the owner for the code. There are grocery stores close by, a bank across the street. The apartment is on the bottom floor, so you only have a four or five stairs to ascend. We had a car and were able to park behind the building at no cost. However, I don't know if that option is always available.
We went in the winter and found that the apartment was close enough for us to walk to 100% of our destinations. We didn't use the car or public transportation at all while we were there. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was very clean and we had zero problems while we were there.
The only cons: no washing machine. We found laundry facilities near the train station (not too far away but not super convenient) and that worked fine, but it cost us about 15 euro and an hour and a half of our vacation at a laundromat. If you don't need to do laundry, the apartment is great. The only other issue was the lack of a bathtub. They aren't in a lot of apartments, but with kids it's always easier if you've got a bathtub.
We were very pleased with the apartment. If we return to Salzburg (would love to!) we would definitely stay here again!
