Hubby and I stayed in this immaculately clean home for 3 weeks and enjoyed the property so much that we rarely left! Lovely lanai with a perfect pool and all day sun.......excellent. The decor is bright and clean and the furnishings very comfortable. Nicky, the owner, contacted us within hours of arriving to check everything was ok and did we need anything. They had even left us a welcome bottle of wine in the fridge. Large en suite bedroom with big walk in shower, double basins. Large kitchen for me to cook our meals with plenty of utensils, plates, crockery etc. Ample beach towels for the pool area. There was nothing lacking in their lovely home and I highly recommend this home to all but in particular for those wishing to be close to the gorgeous Cape Coral beach and restaurants. Perfect location to all the major shopping area's and so peaceful whilst out by the pool and during the evening. This holiday was one of the best we have ever taken, I was astonished when we went into the villa because I couldn`t believe the standard of decoration and furnishing. It is quite simply a beautiful home, home in every sense of the word in a really beautiful estate, with lovely neighbours. The owners, Owen & Nicky, a really lovely couple from Glasgow have went to extraordinary lengths to make their Florida home, your Florida home - they care that you enjoy your break .The welcome pack from O & N has every bit of information you need to make plans for your itinerary with ease, the welcome bottle of wine chilling in the giant fridge was just what we needed and is really thoughtful - the level of detail the owners have went to is remarkable. The villa is superb, cleanliness you wouldn`t believe - I came home and spring cleaned my own, and the pool area is just excellent with everything you need in the well stocked garage, every box of leisure items clearly labeled, to laze around the pool or go beach trips. I loved the pool in early morning just relaxing with a cup of tea watching eagles soaring above me - bliss. It really was a comfort and joy to live in this home - the master bedroom was a pleasure to rest in when we returned exhausted from shopping or sightseeing.The area itself - there was not one minute of this holiday that we didn`t enjoy immensely.The shopping malls are to die for, dining at Rumrunners at the Yacht Club, Houlihans, Stonewood Tavern or the many other beautiful places to eat or even an informal bite at the sports bars, take in a game, are an absolute treat. The food and service is excellent, in fact the service everywhere is so high - Cape Coral/Fort Myers people go out of there way to make your stay in their State a memory to treasure. Now - if you only get to do one sightseeing trip please do yourself a favour and go to Useppa Island. It is not expensive, you leave from Sanibel/Capiva and on way over to Useppa you travel through a water corridor which is a natural habitat of dolphins - it was spectacular and breathtaking - John our guide was quite brilliant and on the trip gave us so much interesting information about the whole area - we were hanging on the mans every word. When we got to Useppa itself I was speechless - no amount of words can explain what a paradise on earth this is. Please go and see for yourself - well! We stayed at this property during New Year 2008/9 and it had everything we could have wished for. It was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities, ranging from the huge master bed to every pot, pan and piece of crockery you could ever need. It is a very homely spacious property and we particularly loved the pool area. The booking process and the help and advice from the owners both before, during and after our holiday we felt was very good too. We would highly recommend this property for a base whilst visiting this part of Florida. We particularly enjoyed the small beach down by the yacht club and the excellent restaurants around the new harbour area.

Absolutely wonderful holiday villa with all the facilities you could wish for whilst away on holiday.
The description of the home is excellent but just does not do this comfortable home justice. It is very homely and extremely well equipped.
The kitchen is superb with plenty of cooking appliances, crockery and glassware. We did not plan to eat out during our stay as we were going onto a cruise the following week, but enjoyed our meals back at the home with a drink on the lanai. We also enjoyed using the BBQ.
The pool was very well kept and clean and our girls (aged 10 and 11) loved the inflatable toys that were available for their use.
The beach equipment, including chairs, towels and cool box were all used daily by us, as were the sand buckets etc by the girls! We even made use of a couple of sun hats (as we had forgotten to bring some of ours!)
The property was immaculately clean and the cleaning lady contacted us the day before our departure to check on times on our leaving.
The villa is very well placed for ease of access to the wonderful beaches and the many attractions in the area, but is nice and quiet at night with no disturbances. The neighbours are also very friendly and helpful! Supermarkets and shopping are all very convenient and there are several restaurants within walking distance for those who want to eat out but don't wish to drive. There was also a huge choice of restaurants further afield with lots of info on the local area within the villa itself.
The owners called the day after our arrival to ensure all was to our satisfaction which was a lovely personal touch we thought.
We will certainly be recommending both the villa and the area to our friends. There is so much to do and a week was certainly nowhere near long enough.
