Fantastic home, everything was 100%, Pool was great,dock was good for fishing, own boat dock for hire boat,house was incredible, charter fishing across the road,a home from home but in paradise.If I win lottery I`d buy this house.

We stayed for 2 weeks and arrived home today. The villa was so fantastic I had to write a r eview immediately!

The villa is located more or less opposite Marco Marina where you can hire a punt or smaller boat for a very reasonable price and take a drink at Jacks Lookout when you return from your trip. This is a very friendly place to meet some locals.
Down the road after about a 15 minute walk the Snook is a great place to eat.

Travel to Naples pier for a lovely day on the beach or if you feel more active cycle to Tigertail or Marco Public beach which are both great to see the sunsets.

Fort Myers is more lively for those who want to try jet skiing or para sailing and also has a great beach.

You have to try the Sunset bar towards the end of the Island for a drink and food whilst watching the sun go down.

Shopping for groceries is easy as Publix and Walgreens are a five minute drive away, Walmart is a must for cheap holiday clothes and other bits and is only about 20 minutes from the house.

Also worth a try is the Marco Ilsand Shopping Mall, where you will find Van Heusens - a must for those looking for quality clothes to take home.

As for the villa, this is fantastic value for the area and is beautifully
clean on arrival. the rooms are very well laid out and everything is on hand. We had the great pleasure of meeting Kent for a drink and then Colleen when we left and they are both lovely people who value their home and aim to please their guests.
Nothing is too much trouble and the whole rental process was a breeze.
The location is wonderful at the end of the waterway and has the added advantage of having an outside seating area where you can sit and eat your BBQ and look down the water way to look for dolphions or manatees - although we were unlucky this time not to see any.

I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to sample the paradise that is this part of the West Coast of Florida for a relaxing holiday.

My family and I (6 adults) stayed here late June 2011. This is a fantastic property with super amenities and is clean and well maintained. The pool area accommodated us all easily, my husband and son fished from the dock, at the end of the garden, every day. The house is equipped with everything you would need for a beach holiday. The property is ideally located for bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance and the beach is only a short drive away.

We booked the villa from 29th August to 12th Sept 2009, the weather was great and very hot, which we like! The villa was fantastic had everything you could ask for, there was plenty room & plenty storage space. The pool & patio area was great, and a great location for bars & restaurants, where you could actually walk to, or cycle to! Having the bikes was a big bonus, we had so much fun on them. We loved the Snook Inn - especially the happy hours, and great food, we highly recommend it to everyone. The beaches are fab and it was lovely to see the dolphins. Would definitely recommend this villa to familes and couples.

We, six adults, stayed in this very comfortable house in April 2009. The house was absolutely as described - spacious, clean, well-equipped and homely with an excellent pool/eating area. Having our own dock was a huge bonus; we hired a boat and really enjoyed having it just ouside. We were able to fish from our jetty and were very excited to see manatees in our waterway.
The house was conveniently situated; the Marina was just opposite with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance which is important to us Brits!
Kent and Colleen, the proprietors, couldn't have been more helpful and efficient and we would strongly recommend this property to anyone.

Overall one of the best villas on Marco Island, the location is almost perfect, across the road from the rental marina, 20 mins by boat, 15 mins by boat to the Snook Inn, 30 mins by boat to the Keewadin Island beach.

The villa had everything we could have wanted and the owners are very very accomodating and helpful.

located in a very quiet area with an excellent deck and pool with spacious deck area and lots of furniture- new pool decking is great-spacious well laid out home but needs some TLC - master bedroom removed from other two bedrooms which is great- limited cooking utensils- no covers for the pots?? with abundance of dishes and cutlery - two new bikes which are great for the area- needs some new linens and pillows- garage needs to be cleaned out - grounds need a bit of attention- owners seemed very sincere about concerns as noted and indicated improvements would be made - limited access to beaches in Marco is an issue - costly parking IF you can find any - resident beach is THE best beach but then it is for residents and rules for vacationers make it near impossible to access - other two beaches not nearly as nice. Will NOT return to Marco due to lack of convenient access to beaches....Florida has MANY other much more user friendly beaches- can recommend this home knowing it shows a bit of wear

This is a wonderful property with outstanding views. The house itself is spacious, very nicely decorated and scrupulously maintained; the owners are a pleasure to deal with. It's close to the beach, both public beaches are within a 4-8 minute ride. The home is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors, and has everything you need to enjoy yourself: well-stocked kitchen, bikes and gear, great internet access, huge selection of towels and linens, lovely lanai and pool, nice big bathtub. You can't match the peaceful feeling you get when you open the sliders, let the air flow through the house, and "rejuvenate yourself."
