This is the third time we've been to Casa das Flores, which should tell you something in itself!
The villa now has all the mod-cons you could need (not that you'll be inside much) - wifi, Freeview, internet tv and radio etc. If there are any problems at all the owners are only too happy to help out.
We're already looking forward to number four!

We have just returned after a weeks holiday at Casa das Flores. The villa is lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. The property photos do not do the property justice! On arrival there was a very welcome 'food pack' which saved dashing to the shops! We spent a lot of time around the pool area, where there was an outdoor table large enough for our party of 8 to sit comfortably around. There are large canopies over the table which allow for shade when having lunch etc and yet can easily keep an eye on children in the pool! The pool was great but the deep end was approx 8-9 ft depth and so young children would need to be watched and supervised - our teenagers loved it though! We didn't hire a car for our stay - out and about we enjoyed a couple of meals in the Rocha Brava area - very nice! Rocha Brava is walkable but took approx 15-20 mins, at a fair pace, and this was where we found the nearest local small supermarket - great for fresh croissants in the morning for breakfast! Our nearest beach was Centianes - lovely beach with blue flag - and nice beach bar "O stop" where we had lunch. We also visited Carvoeiro for the day - beach was great and lots of eating places and nice shops with lovely pottery etc. We found Carvoeiro too far to walk to, and not an ideal walk either, with children, as you are alongside a busy road, so we did phone for a taxi - this was very reasonable at less than 5 euros each way.
Altogether we had a great holiday and would definately recommend, and return to, Casa das Flores.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at this very well-appointed villa. There was plenty of room for 10 people and the facilities were clean and in good working order. An excellent swimming pool, comfortable seating on both patio and indoors, ample kitchen and dining facilities. A maid service is provided and we appreciated the welcome pack of food and drink essentials. A decent golf course is adjacent and the nearby pleasant small town of Carvoeiro has a rich choice of restaurants both in the centre and just outside.

The climate is hot, but not oppressively so, and the atmosphere in the area is friendly and relaxed.

Access is easy, by hire car, from Faro Airport.

We unhesitatingly recommend Casa das Flores for a fun holiday.

We went away as good neighbours and returned home good neighbours after spending a very enjoyable week in what can only be decribed as an excellent Villa with all mod cons and more. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of room and not forgetting the pool in which we spend several hours having fun.

We have spent 2 glorious weeks at the Villa on 2 separate occasions and are hoping we are able to go again. Beautiful space, lovely pool and great location. The owners are really lovely too, as are the really helpful and efficient cleaners. Can’t recommend it enough!

casa das flores in a wonderful villa in a lovely part of the algarve. the owners gareth and jane made the whole rental process very easy and provided all the information needed including simple instructions from the airport to the villa (we arrived in the dark and found it easily).

it really is a wonderful villa, very comfortable and brilliant value as pool heating is included (we stayed in feb/march and used the pool every day).

The area is very peaceful. there are a number of restaurants close by and also a small shop. it's just a short drive into carvoeiro.

overall we were very happy with the villa and wouldn't hesitate in recommending casa das flores.

I have been to Casa das Flores on several occasions during recent years and have never been disappointed! The house is in a perfect position; quiet, peaceful, overlooking the Vale de Milho golf course to the sea and yet close to numerous good restaurants and only a gentle stroll from the beautiful beach at Centianes.

The owners are a delight to deal with and the trouble they have taken in furnishing and equipping the villa is very apparent.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We have stayed here 3 times now, both in season and out of season. Easter Sunday in the heated pool was something else! The villa itself is great. There is a well equipped kitchen and all sorts of home comforts (including TV, Sky Freeview and DVD player) if you want to use them. But you’ll probably want instead to lounge outside by the pool. And you certainly won’t need to get up early to bag a sun-bed like you do in hotels and apartments. It is a tremendously quiet location for a tranquil and restful stay but it is also not far from plenty of places to eat and drink, even if you don’t have a car. The Vale de Milho golf club is always a friendly place and just across the road if you don’t fancy travelling very far at all. And you may find there is a discount voucher at the villa if you fancy playing 9 holes too.
