My wife and I have just spent a fantastic Christmas in this apartment. We left U.K. in rain and reached Malaga , blue skies and sun is was wonderful. The apartment was very well positioned in a smart quiet area and with plenty of parking. It was well furnished clean and had everthing one would want, including a large front balcony with a view across Malaga Bay. Nina and Hugh our host had thought of everything when they furnished the apartment which included a long shoe horn a great aid to us older people. They went out of their way to make our Christmas week special and we had a lovely time. This apartment is well situated to see all the sights that Malaga has to offer and dining in the nearby beach cafes was a joy. Allistair and Anita Dorset. U.K.

Nina has a lovely place to stay. We (family of 5, Mum, Dad and 3 adult daughters) had a great time. The apartment is very, very comfortable - everything as described in the listing and perfect for a self catered stay. The apartment is well maintained and spotless and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Beds are good, cooking facilities ideal and the veranda - well, I just wish I was back there with a glass of wine, in the sun, looking over Malaga city and bay. We actually never got round to eating out as everything in the apartment was so easy (although I must admit the restaurants on the nearby prom looked and smelt very good).
We had hired a car but would not have needed it (except for going to the Alhambra at Granada which was unbelievable) as there are great bus services and taxi fares are cheap. Nina was a grand source of advice to help us make the best of our stay and she was very accommodating - couldn't have been more helpful when a flight home was put back (Ryanair) by 11 hours - well looked after right up to the evening. Nice apartment, nice place to stay and nice landlady!

We chose this apartment because of the reviews about being in the Spanish sector. Everything written about the apartment on the website was correct including the warm welcome from Nina. She definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. She even took us to the supermarket, on our arrival to buy our groceries, although a number of items were already provided in the apartment.
The apartment was clean, warm, secure and comfortable and a great place to come home to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The views were magnificent and even though it was the middle of winter we still enjoyed many evenings on the patio. Additionally, we were ideally situated for the many fish restaurants and a very interesting walk into Malaga along the coast. It was also great to experience the Three Kings procession in Malaga on 5/1/2011.
We didn't need a car but caught the bus into the Centre each day to explore Malaga and its environs. But be prepared for the climb up through the streets back to the apartment or if you are too exhausted you can always get a taxi at the El Palo stand.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody who wanted sightseeing and to feel at home on their holidays. We plan to return there ourselves. The only thing that was missing for us was the internet.

If there were any mild discrepancies in the apartment then all would be forgiven as Nina treated us like family guests.

The property exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely location. The terrace was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy sunsets over the bay. Nina was unbelievably helpful and really really nice. We would highly recommend this property and believe it to be excellent value for money.

we stayed at this apartment in september 2010, and have no hesitation in recommending it.The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday.The owner,Nina, a lovely lady, went out of her way to make us feel welcome.She even provided us with detailed, homemade maps, stating where everything was, supermarkets, chemists,etc,and giving us pointers towards the best bars and restaurants in El Palo and Pedregalejo.This was our second year visiting this area, and was as fresh and exciting as last year.Though if you are looking for wild nightclubs and aall that entails, you wont find it here. what you will find is a very relaxed approach to life , with good food and drink top of the list.The variety of bars and restaurants in the area means you could eat somewhere different every day for two weeks.you'll also find a distinct lack of mass tourism, as this is very much a Spanish area ,and all the better for it.a smattering of spanish is enough to suffice and get by.Malaga city offers a more cosmopoliton attraction,and is a beautiful
city to explore.
just one warning, the apartment is situated on a steep hill, which takes some getting used to,but is managable. however if you are not the athletic type, car hire would be advisable.Although the taxis are quite cheap, costing us an average 4-5 euro.
so summing up, we had a great time and will hopefully return soon.

This cosy and comfortable casa was the perfect place to relax and escape the hustle of UK life. It was very well equipped to cater for all our needs (much better than any villa we’ve ever stayed in) and it was so lovely of Nina to give us a bottle of wine on arrival; which we enjoyed on the large terrace looking over the bay; such amazing views.

On Nina’s suggestion we hired a car [helpful for the hills] to go on jolly jaunts – you can be in the beautiful countryside within 5 mins. Lovely to see the almond blossom, wild iris and the herds of goats. Make sure you stop off at a local venta [inn] in the mountains to see a bit of ‘old malaga’; with charcoal burners under the tables for heating, local country food [very large portions :o)] and welcoming locals. On non-adventurous days we strolled down the hill to laze on the beach and eat some locally caught fish. You can eat at a different place everyday and not be disappointed.

On the evenings we didn’t venture out for a cocktail, it was a treat to not miss out on ‘who killed archie’ in eastenders [sad I know!] or play some of the numerous games on offer. The library was also a bonus and we spent parts of lazy days catching up on reading.

The information and assistance provided by Nina before and during our stay was invaluable and we feel she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable – which is most definitely was…. And more!

We will be back!

A clean, comfortable and safe accommodation. I can recommend to anybody wishing to be away from the crowds, yet a short stroll and a bus ride to the center of Malaga. A car parking spot right outside the villa is provided by the lovely owner and her friendly partner.
My family who stayed with us for over a week were happy and would have no qualms about returning the the casa.
