We had a wonderful week at Casa Pina Solo. Nigel was fantastic and was forever willing to help in any way. We have already emailed all our friends in Australia and told them this is the best place in Southern Spain. We are currently staying in Valencia at another Villa. It costs twice as much as Casa Pina Solo and has no where near the service or charm.

When we travel with our family, we prefer to stay at family-owned homes, condos and apartments. We have enjoyed a richer, more authentic experience in all of the countries and towns we have visited staying in these family-owned dwellings. Hands down, Lisa and Nigel were the warmest and most attentive hosts we have ever had the opportunity to know. Casa Pino Solo combines in-house amenities (fireplace, duvets, well-equipped bathrooms) with all you might want on the exterior (beautiful vistas, high end hot tub, heated pool, comfortable gathering places) Were it not for Lisa's informative emails to my first inquiry, I doubt we would have found this jewel in Andalusia. The guide books direct everyone to the major cities. Lisa and Nigel helped us to see charming Iznajar, the wonderful Nuñez de Prado Olive Oil Factory in Baena, picture perfect Zuheros and Ronda, and countless area attractions. We drove to Granada to sightsee and ski, visited Gibraltar, and enjoyed scuba diving the Costa del Sol. We saw and did a great deal while keeping it relaxed on our vacation. Kudos to Lisa and Nigel for creating an amazing resort in Iznajar!

Casa Pino Solo was a great place to stay.
In fact, despite the many beautiful locations nearby, we often just stayed at 'home' and enjoyed the pool, the sun and the brand new hot tub. It was a very relaxing place to stay, Nigel and Lisa are the best hosts you can wish for. They take their time to inform and help you with anything. Especially the driving instructions were excellent and very clear.
You do need a car, the roads are not suited too well for going for a walk.
We found Iznajar and the lake also very nice.
We had a very pleasant stay and will be back!

Our stay at Casa Pina Sole was as perfect as it could be. Our hosts Nigel and Lisa went out of their way to accommodate us, even welcoming us with a bottle of wine and some breakfast food since we would not have had time to go grocery shopping. The place itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained. It was such a pleasure to be out hiking or visiting during the day and then come home to a swim, a soak in the stunning top of the line hot tub, and then to dinner on the terrace. The surrounding hills are beautiful and the Isnajar reservoir is a shining jewel in the area. Words can hardly express my deep appreciation for the place that Nigel and Lisa have created; truly a top notch place at an affordable price. I would not only recommend Casa Pina Solo; I would love to come back. It rests in my memory as one of the best places of rest and relaxation I have ever experienced.

I recently had a 5 day stay at casa pino solo having found it on the internet.I drove there and was greeted by nigel & lisa.they were very warming and informative of the great facilities availabe on site.the heated pool was very clean warm and inviting.the brand new jacuzzi was a real treat.the rooms are very clean & well apointed with tv, tea making facilities, large fridge & en-suite bathrooms.casa pino solo is in a great location for site seeing & there are 3 local traditional spanish bars not far away.I would recomend casa pino solo to any one

This was our second visit to Casa Pino Solo, having stayed here earlier in May last year. It is ideally suited to travellers who want to visit the surrounding areas or alternatively to purely chill out and relax. We did most of our exploring last year and as my husband was recovering after an operation on his foot, it was the first place that came to mind for somewhere to relax. Lisa and Nigel are excellent hosts and they will ensure that your holiday is full of happy memories. They keep Casa Pino Solo in pristine condition and the cleanliness and comfort is of the highest standard. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were able to swim in the heated pool and use the brand new "all singing, all dancing" hot tub. There are some good places to eat out or alternatively it is a pleasure to prepare a meal and stay in. The location is just idyllic with olive groves as far as the eye can see. It is very rural and very Spanish. We love going to the local bars where tapas are served with your drinks. Lake Iznajar is very close and the views of the lake as you drive into Iznajar are magnificent. You are only approximately an hour's drive from Malaga, but it is a completely different world from the coast. We did manage to do a little more sightseeing over a few days and we were fortunate to see the pink flamingos on the lagoon at Fuente de Piedra and meet the donkeys at the refuge nearby. One place everyone should visit is El Torcal near Antequerra which has the most amazing limestone rock formations. We shall certainly be making a third visit to Casa Pino Solo!

We have stayed 5 days in Casa Pino Solo and loved every day! Lisa and Nigel are very kind and helpfull. We feld very priviliged staying with them. The vieuw from our patio was lovely. The pool, the jaccuzzi, the free bikes, and the treatment; it was all above expectations.
We recommend this place to everyone!

From the moment we arrived at the location, both Lisa and Nigel were there to warmly welcome us, and instantly set about showing us all around, highlighting all the different areas that had been made accessible for us, as we are both wheelchair users, and made sure to ask us if there was anything else we required. They both made sure to tell us just to call or text them if we ever needed something from them, whatever time of day! But at the same time, they both knew when it was time to leave myself and my partner on our own to enjoy the place and spend some quality time together. It definitely made the holiday much more relaxing knowing we could rely on Lisa and Nigel if we needed them.

The place itself is perfect for wheelchair users. The bathroom is spacious, sink and toilet at good height, as well as the shower. The kitchen had everything at a good level, so plates, glasses, cooking equipment, including the oven was all easily accessible, as well as the fridge. The lounge area was also spacious, with plenty of room to move, and we could both easily access the CD player, tv, DVD player, Playstation 2, even the fire place, not that we needed it too often. Everything we needed!

The pool was fantastic, just the right temperature, especially in 35 degree heat! The location itself provided some beautiful views, and the fact it was so secluded made it a very romantic place to be, especially in the cool evening when you could just chill outside and watch the world go by.

We really couldn't have asked for anything else. Lisa and Nigel also saw us off when we sadly had to leave. Its always so refreshing to meet 2 people who genuinely care that you enjoy your holiday and make sure everything is up to par. I know myself and my partner would love to come here again someday, and I also know any wheelchair user would be more than comfortable staying here. Thank you again, Lisa and Nigel.
