We had a wonderful stay in the wintertime (november, december) in Casa Kapalua. The villa has a lot of privacy and good views. It was warm in the evening with the heater and gasfire on. Mojacar is in the wintertime still a lively town. We had good wetter, most of the days around 20 degrees. We can recommand this villa, it has a good price-quality balance. (We missed Internet access and found the beds small (double: 137 - 190) but this is normal in Spain.)

My family & I have recently spent 11 glorious nights in Casa Kapalua. The owners have asked me a couple of times to submit a review but to be perfectly honest I have been a little reluctant..why? because we don't want the word to get out on how amzaing this villa is!! We would be devastated if we could not get our annual booking in!

This was our 4th stay at the villa & we were just as in love with the place as the first time we arrived. From the moment you arrive you feel so relaxed and at home & you certainly will not want to leave!!

The villa is spacious, fresh & cool. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including an ice dispenser on the outside of the freezer!

The pool is fantastic, always clean & just the right temperature, there is a pool man who we saw three times in the 11 days that we were there.

The outside area is very spacious & we enjoyed several bbqs by the pool at night. The night time views up to the Pueblo are lovely.

The Imperial at the bottom of the road serves great pasta & the pizzas which we took away to eat outside the villa are great too.

The owners couldn't be more helpful, Wendy at Spanish properties is great too, they really do go the "extra mile". When we arrived they were installing a new air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms, there was no disruption at all but because they did not want us to feel inconvenienced in any way they left a welcome pack for us!!

stunning apartment set just back from the beautiful playa.
the pool area is amazing, we were happy to spend a couple of days relaxing on the patio, making cocktails with the ice machine and bbq'ing in the evening. apartment exceptionally clean and tidy with 2 excellent en-suite doubles and a separate twin room. only complaint is that a week wasn't long enough!

We went to Casa Kapalua in August 2010 and had a great time.

The location in Mojacar Playa is spot-on for most people because it’s a walk (or at most a short drive) to the sea, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, gift shops and sights of the Mojacar area. The villa is in a residential area with Spanish families around you and if it’s good enough for them...

The house has everything you could need and a few really nice extra features; such as air-con in each bedroom and the lounge, a huge awning to get out of the sun, a big pool and a very nice kitchen with all you need. The villa was also spotless when we arrived.

We called the property rental service once to get help with working the satellite TV and they were more than helpful, despatching an engineer to help us the same day.

We would have liked bigger beds as the doubles were just that and we are used to bigger at home and at other places we have stayed but they were comfortable for their size.

Worth visiting while there: Mojacar Pueblo (the old town on the hill), Neptuno restaurant, the big new Consumo supermarket at Vera for shopping, the many local markets on various days and the miles of beaches.

Would we go back? Definitely.

The villa was large, clean and fully equipped. The pool was mazing, both children and adults loved it. We were left plenty of info regarding amenities and found local transport easy to use. We called on Barry the taxi driver and he was very helpful. The village of Mojacar was wonderful and we spent a few evenings there. The restaurants we visited were all very good. The beach was very near and very clean and safe with plenty of lifeguards. We had use of a bbq at the villa and the awning was very useful in the hot sun. We will definately revisit the villa and would recommend to friends and family.
