We arrived after nightfall and were met by the friendliest driver who brought us to Trevor's house, even though it was dark outside, we could still make out that this place was special.
When we arrived at Trevor's house, we were amazed, this is far more than a holiday home, every room offered something interesting and unique, the house was built with comfort and relaxation at the top of the priority list! It has everything you could need and more...set in the most beautiful tropical surroundings. There is so much to do and see without even leaving the house!
Tobago is an amazing place to visit and Parlatuvier is probably the nicest place on the island. The beach is amazing, and you can get everything you need in the village.
We would highly recommend a visit here, its safe, friendly and there is so much to do. Trevor is a gracious host, helpful when you need him and a really interesting guy and knows all the other locals who can hook you up with a boat ride, forest trek- both of which we would definitely recommend.
Would love to go back again!

Vermieter-Kommentar: Thanks Folks,
Trust you had a pleasant trip home, was great hosting you, Peter, sends his regards, took our guests out yesterday, boat ride up the coast, sunny day ,caught fish and cooked them right there on that pink sand beach , Lovers Bay near Hermitage, the whole family was delighted.
The villagers all helped build an out door Mud Oven recently ,we collect fallen hard wood trees from the Estate , on Saturdays , take the wood down in our trusty truck and fire up the oven ,by the late afternoon ,oh! what lovely scents of freshly baked breads waft over the village, I swear even the parrots and yellow tails swoop in.
Most folks are eating the warm bread as they are walking down to the jetty, Imbie`s shop where they could get a beastly cold beer, the coconut sweet bread, goes down proper with a cup of lemon grass tea.
The kids in now just love Max, took him down to the waterfalls, gave him a scrub , he needed it, he adores being spoilt, big bear,
Xanadu is on track to be opened in Dec, next time ,we have an even better experience for you up
there.
Two weeks ago we had our Blue Food Festival, where we celebrate foods of the rain forest.
Lots of food ,drink and entertainment, it was a sunny day ,loads of people from all over the island turned up, all had fun, some on the beach, some at the waterfalls, most just relaxing near the river side.
At nights now I can hear the practicing drummers and steel pan ,as the next event ,Christmas followed closely by Carnival in the New Year, every one has a good ,good time.
Had dinner over at the Sunset Cafe in Bloody Bay last Sunday, Vaness ,the owner ,lovely lady,
presented us with the Menu of local river Prawns , in a coconut, curry sauce, oh boy! baked Pork, stewed Chicken and grilled Mahi Mahi fish, we all had our favorite, but we all agreed the callaloo and macaroni pie, with sauteed veg, pigeon peas, was a great dinner, not to forget the bar .
Talking about Bars ,Andy at the Glasgow Bar , newly renovated is offering Soup on Saturdays.
That Bar has the best view on the Island, looking down on the Horse Shoe Bay of Parlatuvier,
with the Sister Isles , out in the Caribbean Sea, you can see the fisher men in their boats , drifting up and down around the Isles, today`s Catch of the Day.
Darlington, who I believe took you into the rainforest, going on a trail walk today with our guest,
says the forest is teeming with fauna and flora, so many specie of birds, he is real forest man, knows his herbs.
