We arrived late in Rio but our driver, booked by the apartment owner was waiting to take us to this immaculate flat in a much needed air conditioned car. Nicky was waiting for us and showed us around, and gave us some great local tips. We headed straight down to the beach, literally a minute away! Even closer was a cash machine (very handy!), the cafe where the famous "Girl from Ipanema" was written, cafes, lovely bars, the lake and excellent transport links. Nicky was so friendly and helpful. The aprtment was spotless and really comfortable. There was plenty of space for the four of us (two couples) and room to enjoy drinks and snacks in the evening before heading our for some caiphrinias. We would definitely go back

I stayed in this appartment with my wife and it was perfect for us. It was in a great location near Posto 9 and near restaurants bars but still quiet. Very safe too. Dealing with Nick was no problem. A really nice guy. Would recomend this appartment.

guys dont search for any other flats around in RIO...that s the one...great guy always very supportive in every need during our 1 month NEW YEARS celebrations...superb area surrounding just next to everything beach, restaurant,shopping...flat is in a quite area so you can enjoy long morning hrs and still can relax

When i go back to Rio, i will stay here again no doubt. The APT was clean and in a perfect location next to Posto 9. Nicky was great to work with, a real nice guy.

After recently returning from a fortnight in Rio, i can quite happily say that this apartment made our holiday, myself and my brother had the pleasure of staying in this two bed roomed spacious luxury apartment, its situated on 'visconde de piraja', which is the main road running through the centre of Ipanema, everything is within walking distance, the beach is a two minute walk-just around the corner, McDonald's, kfc, dozens of restaurants and cool bars to choose from, convenience stores,chemists etc are in abundance here. The apartment is spotless has a cooker and two bathrooms-which came in really handy, it also has wireless Internet and cable T.V-nice big flat screen television. We always felt secure as there is security in the block at all times with a secure entrance, taxis are very easily accessible with 'visconde de piraja' being the main road. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, especially to people with very limited portuguese linguistic skills because everything you need is here and messing around with taxis need not be an issue, the owner is a fantastic bloke (now a friend of mine) who is also an expat and was always willing to help out when help was needed, ideal for either couples or even a small group of friends, i think we were really lucky in finding this apartment, definitely a ten out of ten, an two thumbs up for this one

Ho soggiornato su questo appartamento per ben 1 mese, la posizione è ottima proprio in rua visc. de piraja nel cuore di Ipanema vicino alla fermata dell'autobus e del metro, con la spiaggia ha soli 3 minuti a piedi, in questa strada si trova tutto dal supermercato alla farmacia ai ristoranti, bar e palestre ed è inoltre una zona molto sicura.
Il condominio è tranquillo con soli 2 appartamenti per piano, l'appartamento è stato recentemente restaurato si trova al 4° piano ed è tranquillo perchè non affaccia sulla strada , ed ha due belle stanze con letti matrimoniali comodi ed aria condizionata ci sono due bagni, uno con una doccia americana molto spaziosa,la cucina è ben equipaggiata con un frigo grande e la sala dispone di una grande tv lcd con dvd e satellite, l'appartamento è arredato bene con armadi spaziosi ed è quindi comodo anche per soggiorni lunghi, unico piccolo neo è la mancanza di aria condizonata in cucina/sala ma quando ero a rio faceva veramente un caldo eccezionale, di solito non penso ci siano problemi e per chi ha bambini piccoli attenzione alle finestre che sono senza reti.
Cosa importante i proprietari Nick&Helena sono molto disponibili e simpatici.
Mi sento quindi di consigliarlo vivamente a tutti.
