Quinta Falcoes is a stunning, modern villa in one of the most incredible locations you could possibly imagine. The villa is in a lovely quiet village and has all the luxuries you would expect, however, it is the outdoor space and the views across the ocean and the surrounding cliffs that make this such an extraordinary place.

It's hard to imagine by the pictures, however, they really don't even begin to describe the views!

Our stay was made more special by the care and attention of Rose and Gilberto who look after the villa on behalf of the owners, they are charming and helped us out with lots of local advice. They also kept the pool and villa in tip-top shape throughout the stay.

The owners have provided a huge amount of resources available which really helped us to chose the best activities on this beautiful island. Funchal is such a wonderful city and we explored all of it's stunning gardens, churches and museums.

We really can't wait to go again!!

Lovely villa with a stunning view accompanied by Falcons visiting every day. Well appointed with plenty of space and the heated pool was the icing on the cake. Fabulous for the children with their own area downstairs when they were not in the pool. Very clean and well thought out. The service we received from the owners was the best we have ever had, with lots of information and a welcome pack. Highly recommended!

It's not often I fall in love with a holiday or want to go back before I've taken off for home. But my time at this Villa was like a dream and I can truly say I am smitten. The villa's location is just genius and setting was like a well organised stage set, depending on how early I woke, I'd watch the light house flashing in the far distance, then watched the sun creping over the hills and spilling down the valley. Spent the the day in the pool at (30+ degrees) and sun bathing. There's absolutely nothing to spoil your views over the valley and sea! The two Falcons gliding around in the valley was the cherry on top. That's not mentioning the sun sets! If you have the privilege of staying at this villa, it's really the front row seats to the best of the best of Madeira's landscape, nature and sun. Loved it. Thank you guys.

We had the pleasure to stay at villa Quinta Falcoes for a week in March 2011. We were 4 adults (2 couples) sharing the villa, which was just perfect. The villa was excellent for us and surpassed our expectations. The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures on the website! The house was spectacular with unbelievable views of the ocean and sunsets.
What you see is only half of what you get. It was amazing to wake up with the view of ocean.
The villa is away from anything and anyone else so you can have a completely relaxing break. We found the information, booklet in the house very helpful in resourcing local places to eat and see.
The kitchen is completely equipped and has lots of space for the whole family to join in with the cooking. The kitchen/dining/living room is very spacious.
One little thing – the Vila has TV, but has not satellite – only DVD. So if you want watch football or similar - you need to find TV in the bar or pub.
The owners Jon and Ginny was very helpful and welcoming before and after our stay.
We soon felt totally at home and did not want to leave. Thank you for a great holiday - we'd love to be back one day!

This is the 2nd time my family have been to Madeira. The island is beautiful and extremely relaxing. We have a teenage son and a 5 year old and they loved the scenery and atmosphere just as much as their parents. If you are after nightclubs etc then this is the place to avoid. If you are looking for gorgeous scenery, relaxing atmosphere and friendly people then I dont think you will be disappointed.

Villa was clean, comfortable and well equiped. The views from the bottom of the garden are gorgeous. We hope to return to Madeira again in the future and would be delighted if I was able to rent this villa again. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed when they get there.

As a family we cannot rate this Villa highly enough. The finish is superb and the local assistance arranged by the owners is also fantastic. Great location with unsurpassed views ensured that we made use of the Villa day and night. There is every conceivable amenity on site.. Laundry/utility room, dishwasher etc...Baby gate would be a great addition, but apart from that, Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and being positioned in tranquil and beautiful surroundings, Quinta Falcoes was an excellent place to stay to explore Madeira. We stayed for 12 days in August, enjoying lovely weather whilst using the excellently heated pool. Furnished to a high standard and well equipped you can see the sea from everywhere in the villa. One of the best villas we have stayed in.
Prior to departure we received excellent and detailed information regarding the villa and surrounding areas, also being met at the airport and being shown to and around the villa by Rose and Gilberto was great too.
A great holiday was had and we would recommend Quinta Falcoes to all.

Thanks, yes we all had a great time, the villa was lovely, even with 7 of us it was more than big enough for us all with plenty of room if you wanted some time alone for a while. Amazing views of the ocean from all rooms and the pool with great sunsets etc.
The kids enjoyed the table tennis and dvd`s, have not got any negative comments regarding the villa and the information folders were more than useful in planning days out which we used......

We walked the levada from the `liitle old lady`s` bakery on the side of the road to Ponta do Pargo but i think we went too far and exited the levada down a steep road which brought us out half way between Cabo and Pargo, with 1 of our cars parked by the light house this was a long 5 hr walk!!

We travelled down to Porto Moniz one morning and used the salt water swimming pool on the left hand side, amazing design and very cheap, we all enjoyed this. Travelling onto Sao Vicente we then drove up the mountain through the clouds and beyond, wonderful views and came back down by Carvalhal then back to villa at about 8pm - good day.

Dave and i walked down to the beach at Achadas da Cruz, very tricky in places but worth it. We then took the cable car back up to the top free of charge (it was supposed to be shut for maintenance but they let us on) not keen on heights - say no more!!

We all went to Funchal for the day and drove up to Monte parked, got the cable car down spent the afternoon in Funchal and then took the cable car back up - another good day.

On last day we headed for Machico which was lovely and spent the afternoon there before the short 15 min drive back to the airport.

Will defiantly return to Maderia, was gutted to leave and having travelled most of the world have not felt like this too often, even when going through security at the airport the sea is still visible through the window as a reminder of what we were leaving behind. Needed 2 weeks to see everything and spend some time chilling by the pool and a more powerful car for the hills!

To summarise, excellent communication throughout booking, met at airport as stated (even when our flight was 4 hrs late) Rose shown us around villa and her and Gilberto were very friendly. Even though the pictures of the villa are good they dont do it justice, the views and location are simply stunning and the villa is very well maintained.

Would recommend this villa to friends and family as i already have!
