We had already stayed at the same villa last year so we knew what to expect. The manager, Lisa Norton was waiting for us even though we arrived late. The villa was very clean and the welcome pack provided was more than adequate. Lisa is very efficient and dealt with any requests we had immediately. The villa was cleaned thoroughly,twice during our 2 week stay which we were impressed with, as the previous year it was only cleaned once.
I would definitely recommend this property to other people and, if available, it would be my first choice when I visit Goa again. Riviera Hermitage is a very well maintained resort.
The Saturday night market is literally across the road and Club Cubana, the nightclub is a few minutes walk away.The young people in our group were impressed with it and went there nearly every night.There is also a new beauty parlour nearby which all the ladies in our group used for massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. We mostly went to restaurants in Baga-Brittos and JJ's- the food was excellent and a few other restaurants in different areas, however, we did go to the Spice Oven in Arpora a couple of times which was really nice.
Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the villa and the manager who looks after it.

This villa looked good from the photos and was frankly even better on arrival. Everything is easy to use, well equipped and the space is very peaceful given its location and the time of year. We didn't avail ourselves of the pool, as I had a virus (imported), so thus, we couldn't venture far the first evening and ate at the Pink Chilli a hundred or so yards out of the gate, which was also friendly and good. You can pop in for a drink prior to going further afield, too. The big Night Market is the place to be on Saturday after dusk - and that couldn't be handier, just opposite the main entrance. We felt very secure and well-looked after all the time we were there. Do ask for Vinny for your transport needs, as he and his drivers are local, v helpful and you will be charged correctly. If you have to be hooked up to wifi (I do!) slip into the Hilton next door and ask the IT guy for the daily code, order a drink and sit by the pool or in the cool lobby, then reply to your emails and get back out and see more of Goa. All in all, self-catering doesn't get any better than this.

Three of us stayed in the villa for a week. It is exceptionally well appointed and spacious. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. The pool area is very calm and quiet with plenty of choice of sunbeds in either sun or shade. Set in a garden that is beautifully maintained. The location is ideal for sightseeing and for exploring different beaches and the local culture. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Lynne was exceptionally helpful answering all our questions prior to our booking and then our holiday. On arriving at the Riviera Hotel and Hermitage (where the villa is situated) we were very impressed. Villa is lovely, gardens are kept immaculate and we felt very looked after with Sarah who greeted us upon arrival and explained a few things. Hotel is very impressive, pool lovely and casino great fun. Couple of glitches with no water in the villa were sorted out by the on site recommended handy man within an hour. Security at the resort was excellent. Sarah also popped in during our second week to ensure we were all ok. Villa location is spot on for the Apora Saturday night market located across the road and to go either south or north to the various beaches via taxi or Tuk Tuk. Margim and Mandarem beaches are highly recommended if you want beautiful scenery and not many sellers. Baga (free bus from hotel on the hour) and Calangute are lively and ideal for shopping while you sunbathe. Goan people extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone holidaying in North Goa. Did not see another of its quality or surroundings on our travels. Thank you Lynne.

It is a beautiful villa as you can see from the photos. The villa is well maintained and comes with all facilities that you would need. Lynne made the booking process very easy and effective. I have to say the Sarah (property manager in Goa) was very helpful too. The location of the villa was excellent, very quite & peaceful neighbourhood also close to Baga beach (with free bus service). Vinny (taxi driver) and his brother were brilliant they come around no matter what time of the day you call. I absolutely loved the pool you almost get to yourself. Sunset behind the mountain and coconut trees was an amazing view from the bedroom!!! I would definitely like to stay in the villa again and completely recommend to all.

We have just returned from our holiday & this fab villa. It had everything we needed with the washing machine an added bonus. Having full use of the hotel facilities next door was absolutely brilliant with bar & restaurant prices really cheap for a hotel. All the staff were brilliant & couldn't do enough for us & the courtesy Baga bus was also another bonus. Back to the villa complex itself, it was beautifully clean & comfortable with a well equipped kitchen & lovely bathrooms. It slept 4 comfortably & it was very spacious. The owners were very approachable before we went & their rep at the villa & Vinny the taxi driver extremely helpful if any problems arose. We would certainly go again & have no hesitation in recomending it to others.
