We know this region of Spain pretty well and have often thought a villa a little way into the mountains would provide the best of both worlds – and it did. Tranquil and scenic, amazing views and scenery on the doorstep yet only a quick drive to the bustle of Denia and other seaside resorts, or Pego town.

The whole villa is completely thought out, practical, comfortable and spotless. The fit-out, upkeep, decoration and garden/pool - all lovely, the pool and outside were put to full use. Although we toured a fair bit, we loved sitting out by the pool, BBQ'ing and just enjoying the very hot weather and slight breeze in the evening.

The info pack and communications in general were excellent. Particularly useful and put to full use was the local information and restaurant info, really gave us good local knowledge and a good insight into the area.

So all in all a highly successful break. My two daughters (10 and 13) just loved it as did we. We toured many places, well into the mountains as well as beaches and Valencia.

Thank you for your efforts in providing such a ‘sorted’ holiday villa and for making it available to us. We will be back!

This was our second visit to this region of Spain and we were not disappointed. The villa has a very tranquil setting and is ideal for chilling out. There is a beautiful pool, and mature gardens & shrubbery ensure you are not overlooked when relaxing by it.
Set in the hillside,it has some great mountain views,and
was immaculate, well maintained and roomy, with all the comforts of home.
A car is essential for getting to and from the villa, but only a short ride away is the town of Pego which has supermarkets and other amenities, as well as the beach resorts of Denia, Calpe and our favourite Altea. For the kids, Aqualandia and Terra Mitta at Benidorm are about 40 mins away, both good days out, and it was lovely to come back at the end of the day to your own villa/pool rather than a hotel room
Diane & Ray the owners were first class in all correspondence with regard to the booking process which is so important when organising a holiday privately, and I would recommend them & their villa to all.

Arrived on the 2rd of July for a two week stay with our two teenage daughters. The website describes the villa and location well but it exceeded our expectations
The villa was well maintained and had good quality furniture. Plenty of books and games to keep everyone occupied. Great views from the drive up and of the surrounding mountains, some excellent beaches at El Poblets near by. Great location if your a keen cyclist!
Good communication from the owners made the whole experience very easy.
We'd have no hesitation in recommending this villa and would love to visit again.

We spent a week here between 25th June 2011 & 2nd July 2011. The website describes the villa and location perfectly.
The villa was maintained to a very high standard and equipped with everything you could need. The grounds were lovely and spacious, the swimming pool was 28 degrees....perfect!...beautiful lit up at night to sit by with a glass of wine or 2!!
The surrounding mountains were stunning. The surrounding villages were lovely and very traditional.
You do need a car to access the shops and restaurants but they are close.
We wanted a week of sun, beautiful villa, pool, great surroundings, pure relaxation and wine!!!.....it was everything we wanted here!!!
We will definitely go back.

The garden is spacious enough and has several corners to sun bade, sit in the shade reading, move around a little, and enjoy the well kept pool. On the space you have on the premises at the garage level you can easily play a little badminton for those who like more action. The house, which is also spacious and has enough room to store your stuff, and the surroundings are very clean and as well equipped.
The bed, bad and kitchen linen is of very good quality, as is all the furniture and equipment.
Peaceful neighborhood and just a few minutes away from shops and restaurants. Plenty of beaches to choose from. However, you do need a car.
For us it was our second stay and we will be back! It will feel again a little as coming home.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Rafol and drove straight to it from the directions provided. The villa was very well equipped, clean and tidy and the outside was too. I cannot think of anything which would have improved our stay. We have already recommended the villa to our family.

A well maintained modern villa, very clean throughtout, kitchen well equipped. Just like home from home, good access road, we really enjoyed this villa. There really isn't any more to add thats already been said.
