Went on vacation in June 2012 to this Stone Harbor property.. it was clean and exactly as the pictures show. We enjoyed the location in reference to the local playground (perfect to entertain my almost 2 year old boy), just a few blocks away -- and the fact it is walking distance to the beach and to 96th street for shopping and dining. The Clarke's market on the same block is perfect for any grocery need and the Bradley's sandwich place that is attached to Clarke's market has great food at a reasonable price. Don't miss the bakery Donna's -- also just a block away for their delicious sticky buns and donuts. I thoroughly enjoyed the laundry room on premises, beats the quarter machines and expense of the laundromat elsewhere. This place was perfect for my small family and the owner provided great customer service. I would recommend this to a friend/relative and I would also stay there again. Our only 'gripe' and its not much to speak of.. but merely a suggestion from my sports crazy husband and myself would be more cable channels, including the local sports channel Comcast SportsNet.. it was sort of a shame not to be able to watch local baseball while relaxing on vacation, something we cannot do often with our work schedules.

I was very please of the accommodation. The place was very clean and welcoming. The house is situated very close to to beach and we barely used the car during the week we stayed.
The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and having meals at home.
Another feature that I was surprise to find out was the free wireless. This allowed me to do some work in the relax of the house in rainy days or when kids were playing outside or at the beach.
The patio outside was great for my two girls who enjoyed spending the evening chatting around the table.
Really a great place and it definitely exceeded my expectation considering the reasonable price.

A perfect home for a Summer Getaway!

The house is a short 3 blocks to the beach, and steps from the bay, incredible for watching the evening sunsets! A short walk to downtown, and close to Bradley's (for the best Cheesesteaks) and Clarke's Market, make this a house that is VERY family friendly!

We have a 7 month old and this house was perfect for us, very user friendly. Having a washer and dryer RIGHT HERE, was a HUUUGE plus for me. Not having to pack multiple outfits for each day, and being able to wash clothes (if needed) was a big relief for me =)

We loved using the grill, as well as the great restaurants that are so close by. The kitchen is perfect for cooking indoors, as well as playing cards at night and having some quick lunches in between beach runs =)

My husband loved the flat screen tv in the living room and WIFI, that made it possible for him to watch the ballgame and keep up with email, facebook, and current events.

I loved the convienence to 96th street for walks in the morning with the baby, and the proximity to the Clarke's market (for all the daily essentials!) The A/C made the Summer heat a nice welcome home from being out on the island!

This house is a great spot for a family getaway to the Beach in a safe and welcoming atmosphere, and will be perfect for bringing more kids to in the future. I also think this house would be great for a Mommy's getaway with the girls =)

For the best deal on the Shore, come to this house on 109th and Sunset. Located across the street from the bay and just 3 short blocks to Nun's Beach, the top surfing beach on 7 mile island, you can't find a more perfect location for a better price. If surfing isn't your thing, swimming beaches are just one block down and one block up from Nun's.

Conveniently, this Shore home is one block from one of the only grocery store, deli, and butcher on the island (Clarke's Sunset Market). Right next door is Bradley's steak and chicken cheesesteaks which will take you right back to downtown Philly.

96th street is about a 10 minute walk to beach shopping, upscale stores, and beach bars and dining. Try out Fred's for a night cap and the Quohog Seafood Shack for unique seafood and a BYOB casual restaurant. Springer's homemade Ice Cream is also a must.

WIth everything you need just steps away, this is the perfect home base to relax, have an eat in dinner, either in the full kitchen or on the grill, and end your day with an outdoor shower and good night's sleep in air conditioning.

Easy access to Avalon and Cape May as well.

Will be back for years to come. Especially at a can't beat price.
