Sheila, we want to thank you so much for sharing your very special cottage with us. We were absolutely right to home during our stay. We want everyone to know what a wonderful host you are, and how comfortable, cozy and charming your cottage truly is.
We found the cottage to be very clean and we settled in very quickly. Our dog, Casper, was truly comfortable, especially with the fenced-in yard. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips.
The location was truly perfect, as we planned several day trips. We had an extremely wonderful day on Nantucket island. We also visited Boston, Newport, Rhode Island, Wrentham Village outlets, and things closer by such as the Cape Cod Canal, and Plymouth, Massachusetts.
We would highly recommend your wonderful cottage, and will keep it in mind should we ever visit again. Thanks, again.

Fantastic, cozy getaway!

We (two parents, three adult children, and a toddler grandchild) had a wonderful time at this cottage! Although tiny, it's so well laid-out that we lacked for nothing. The fenced-in back yard features a grill, adirondack chairs, and a picnic table--the perfect place for quiet reading or a casual cookout. There's a small rocky beach within walking distance (and folding beach chairs provided with the cottage), while a larger sandy beach with lifeguards, concession stand, etc. is just about two miles away--a short drive. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, comfy, and decorated with just enough quirky originality that you felt you were in a home, not a hotel. Several restaurants are in walking distance, plenty more within a few miles, and both a produce market around the corner and a Wal-Mart supermarket down the road make eating in an easy option as well. Plus, the charming owner lives right next door and was quick to provide anything that we might miss. This delightful cottage is also an excellent value compared to most other properties we viewed, so we definitely hope to return!
Vermieter-Kommentar: Yes, exactly right. My cottage is very clean, and although small, it uses space wisely. And in real estate, its location, location, location. Many places within walking distance and/or just a short ride away.

Truly dog friendly gem

My husband and I plus three dogs stayed here for Columbus Day weekend. We did hit the jackpot with amazing weather. It was so nice to leave the back door open and let the dogs roam in or out as they pleased in the securely fenced backyard. Pretty low key and quiet neighborhood. There is a cute sandy beach that would be perfect for kids a short walk. Big "No dogs" signs and with our exuberant dogs who are loud when they play, we decided not to chance it.
Kitchen is updated and we found everything we needed from pots and pans to coffee maker to boombox. Especially nice was the Patriots pint glasses chilling in the freezer. Big game that weekend and a small TV but with all the necessary sports stations (Comcast, NESN, ESPN.)
Bed was comfy with comfortable sheets and blankets. Bathroom was clean and modern. The whole place was very clean but felt homey. It didn't feel like we had to walk around on eggshells or had to be afraid the dogs would leave a tiny dent on something that would be glaring.
Sheila, the owner was super friendly and helpful. She pointed us to Lindsey's-a restaurant with a bar area less than a two minute walk from the house.
The house is located on "this" side of the Bourne bridge which makes for an easier drive back on busy summer Sundays. Still, the "there" side of the Cape is a five minute drive to the bridge. We spent some time in Falmouth and lots of time in Dennis on spectacular beaches where dogs are welcome off-leash at that time of year.
I would highly recommend this place to people who like to take their dogs with them, families with children, or anyone who would like a laid back house with a comfortable vibe.
