Amazing villa, great area and value for money!

Hi,
6 of us just spent 5 days in Clare's lovely villa and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. There is so much space and the villa's location and facilities were excellent. 4 separate rooms and 4 bathrooms, swimming pool, modern kitchen and bbq, what else do you need?
We were over from Scotland doing some climbing in the area so if this is of interest to you check out http://www.bolt-products.com/TheClimbing.htm. Didyma and Katafyki both have some really nice climbs (sport and/or trad).

Our week is coming to an end, we are chilling out by the pool. Today was again so beautiful, sunny, hot. Nobody want to leave, the youngest of the party : Emily and Anaïs will be upset to leave back to Normandie, Grance.
The house is beautiful, very comfortahle, the view on the bay is breathtaking. Porto Heli is lovely. It is our annual family gathering (11 in total, from 18 months old to 40 years old): we would love to stay longer, a lot longer, adapt to the Greek life!

Here we have been for 2 weeks and we could have been for a longer time!!! The villa is lovely with many rooms and the swimming pool. We are a group of 6 persons and we have really enjoyed our time here! Everyone has been able to relax. Thank you so much for your hospitality. It would be nice to come sometimes again to this villa.
There is a very good restaurant in Porto Heli harbour called Ostria.

A beautiful villa with a personality that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. It is very well maintained and provides everything you need for a comfortable holiday, it even had a welcome package.
We were met by Clare who gave us a tour of the house and its facilities which was a nice personal touch.
The rooms were a perfect size for the 8 of us (mix of girls and boys) and each had its own bathroom.
It has a beautiful pool which is well maintained next to which is one of the three dining areas. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the upstairs veranda with views of the sea and Spetses. The boys enjoyed using the BBQ by the pool.
The secluded little beach 2 mins walk from the villa was stunning!
We found Porto- Heli to be ideally located for day trips to Archaeological sites and other towns and islands like Nauplion and Spetses.
Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great holiday, but our main problem with this villa was that there was an expectation gap between what was advertised and what the villa was like in reality.
First and foremost, the beautiful view that you see above is not the view from the villa - it is very mis-leading. The owner will say that the picture is clearly labelled as a view of Hydra, which you can't see from the villa, but when you don't know the area you would assume this is the view from the villa. The house you can see is not the villa you'll be staying in.
Secondly, the owner lists the villa as luxury. It is by no means luxury, which also led to the expectation gap.
Having said that, we had a lovely holiday and the villa was everything we needed - if it had been advertised correctly we still would have chosen it. The pool area in particular is excellent, and the pool is cleaned regularly.

The view towards Hydra is clearly described as being just that, it is designed to give an idea of the area and the truly spectacular views. The house is described as facing the island of Spetses. In addition a very clear photo of the house shows that is a different colour to the corner of the house in the photo of the view towards Hydra.

The villa is situated in a wonderful location, only a 5-10 minute drive from the quiet yet cosmopolitian town of Porto Heli. A two minute car drive or a slightly longer walk (it is quite hilly) will take you to the boat port where you can catch a ferry or hire a private taxi to the beautiful island of Spetses, ideal for nights out in restaurants or bars as well as exploring the beautiful coves by motocycle or boat.
The villa is ideal, very quiet down a small track in a residential area. The villa is not overlooked and the pool and pool area is large. Our party of 8 (4 couples) found the facilities in the villa excellent and each bedroom having a separate bathroom was ideal.
There are 4 table areas for eating (one in the kitchen, one on the 1st floor balcony and two around the pool - one sun and one shade). This meant that eating in was enjoyable, escecially with the poolside bbq.
The villa was clean and well stocked for essentials in the kitchen, washing machine and powder and the dishwasher was a bonus.
We would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone who either wants to relax around the pool or explore the local towns, villages and islands. The owner is also very helpful.
