Dieses charmante Haus wurde komplett renoviert und aktualisiert mit allen Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und der Gast Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett. Es gibt 2 roll-away Twin-Size-Betten zur Verfügung, wenn nötig. Es gibt Parkett durch aus dem Haus und die Zimmer sind mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Der Hof verfügt über schattenspendende Bäume und eine entspannende hinteren Veranda. Wir sind nur wenige Blocks von Amerika Nr. 1 Schlitterbahn Waterpark und Schläuche in der Comal River. Landa Park und Golfplatz befindet sich die Straße hinunter. Historische Grüne TX und Rafting / Schlauch auf dem Guadalupe River sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Grace Haus Provides Wonderful Hill Country Charm

Our family stayed at Grace Haus during the summer of 2009 and it was a wonderful, quiet hill country home in the heart of New Braunfels. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four plus a guest. The small, but well appointed kitchen was wonderful to come home to after a day at the waterpark. My favorite place was the back porch to watch the birds. We wanted to stay there again last summer, but it was already booked. We are hoping to stay there again soon. Having grown up in the hill country, this was like coming home. Grace Haus is a truly authentic Texas hill country guest "haus". I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in New Braunfels and experience a bit of Texas charm.

Wonderful Stay at Grace Haus

Still trying to recover from the weekend, however, I can say that our stay at the Grace Haus was better than expected. Actually, very relaxing with it's "no glam, antique, uniqueness". My brother, myself, my husband, and a few of his childhood buddies were very pleased with our stay, even after reading the other review. The water pressure in the showers was not the best and it might be lacking insulation, but even in the hottest weeks of August, it was all very comfortable. Almost everything was provided, from towels and paper towels, to laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The back porch was a favorite for the guys (there was a citronella candle, but if you plan on spending any time out there, I suggest you bring extra bug repealant). The owners made us all feel welcome and we are very grateful to them for opening up their home to us. Although, we procrastinated to long to find a bigger home still available to sleep more people, we have no complaints, and hope to have the opportunity to stay here again! If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not the place, but if you are looking for an authentic, comfortable, and charming rental, this is definitely where you want to stay!

Never Again

My wife, daughter and I rented this house for a month while in the middle of reocating from NJ. It happened to be during a cold spell in the area. The air intake for the heat and AC is in one of the BRs and literally sucks the heat out of the room and the cold in from outside. There is little in the way of privacy for the bathrooms. The master BR has no door between the bedroom and the toilet and shower. It was supposed to be no pets, but my wife and daughter (both allergic to cats) had problems from day one. We later found that some previous renters actually had a cat in the house. There are trains that run near the house and the whistles blow very loudly both day and night. The pecans falling on the metal roof played a said refrain throughout the night as well. The place has roaches to go with the normal spider activity.
As I said, NEVER AGAIN.
