Beautiful Condo in wonderful development

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The condo neighborhood is new, has a well layed out "town" right outside the front door. Relaxing to walk around (sculptures, music, coffee, outdoor projection screen and restaurants - even before you go into DC) with water views all around. Water taxi's to Old town, Mt. Vernon and Georgetown are a nice way to travel and beat the traffic.

To get into DC, there is a shuttle bus available, as well as bus service, we drove and parked in DC (only $16 dollars day).

Our stay was a really nice way to enjoy DC and it was great to have a place to return "home" to and enjoy a relaxing dinner in the condo or a nice dinner in one of the restaurants on the water front.

Kevin's rental condo in National Harbor is in a new building that is well
maintained. It adjoins the Aloft Hotel and shares facilities with the hotel.
Kevin was very prompt and helpful at our arrival. The apartment is bright
and airy, nicely equipped and furnished with all the necessities for visitors.
There is an indoor, secure parking space.

The development is mostly intended for conventioneers, so there are many hotels,
specialty stores and restaurants, but no grocery, drug or liquor stores. So you
need a car to get to Oxon Hill or Alexandria for supplies and to get to Branch
Ave or Huntington Av Metro stations.

Some helpful suggestions for visitors:

1. If you arrive by freeway take the "local" lanes when crossing the Wilson
Bridge to exit at National Harbor.

2. Traffic on I495 is not bad except at rush hour.

3. Parking at the metro stations is very crowded unless you arrive very early
but plenty of additional spaces become available after 10am.

We enjoyed our stay and will plan to return when we come back to the DC area.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place was absolutely beautiful! It was a nice getway. The area was also very upscale, with lovely views of the water. The quick access to DC gave me plenty of things to do over the weekend. Can't wait to come back down.

Wonderful, Comfortable New Condo in Great Location

Our trip to Washington DC was great and our accomodations at this beautiful new condo at National Harbor made our week long stay very enjoyable. The unit is well equipped with everything we needed for our getaway. And the view from the balcony is wonderful.

The owner was a gracious host and guide. The fruit basket and complimentary water taxi tickets to Old Town Alexandria, VA was very thoughtful. I certainly would recommend National Harbor and this condo to my friends and family!!
