Apartment was below average for Florida. This was our 15th time to Florida and never had as much trouble. We had to chase owners for details the day before we flew. We then had to chase them for our refundable deposit 2 months after we returned. I would not recommend this property or this owner.
Vermieter-Kommentar: It is unfortunate that we did experience communication problems during the time of this booking. This was explained to the client when we telephoned them to ensure they had received our email on directions to the property and apologised for any inconvenience.
We regret that the clients were not satisfied with the accommodation and would point out that this is the first complaint in 15 years! The accommodation is clean, functional and fully equipped. Our reputable Agents in Florida would not work with us otherwise.
However it is not full of owner's possessions and Florida razzmatazz.
We offer good value for money especially with all the facilities available at Shorewalk for our client's enjoyment - Clubhouse with free wifi, 2 swimming pools, jacuzzis, illuminated tennis courts, basketball court, shuffleboard and extensive grounds with lakes etc.
It is a pity these clients could not come back to us direct with any criticisms.

Great Holiday

We have just returned from Florida having had a great holiday. The accommodation was wonderful, plenty of space and very clean. The location was good as well, although we would recommend you have a car. We enjoyed breakfast on the beach every day at either The Cafe on the beach at Holmes beach or O’Leary’s at Sarasota. Try to get to the Electrical Power Station at Tampa to see the Manatee, its worth the drive! The owners were also very helpful and gave us useful tips for our first visit to Florida. We are hoping to return next year for 2 weeks.

The description of the property was totally accurate. We looked at some reviews on Shorewalk resort in general, and we found non of the negative comments applied to this property.
The apartment was very clean and well maintained, the beds were clean and comfortable and the location was ideal for our needs - far enough away from the pools and tennis courts not to get any noise!
The owner was very approachable, and was happy to help with specific requests.
We would not only recommend this property to others, but would go back there tomorrow!
We liked the easy access to the beaches, but were pleased to be away from them. There are many good restaurants in the area - we particularly likes the Bonefish Grill, although there were several restaurants closer - walkable to by those who like to walk, although crossing Cortez Road on foot was hair raising!
We loved the heated pool at Shorewalk - very good for 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. swims. We did find the hot tubs too hot.
