We have just spent a super week at Tiddlers Paddock. The property is very characterful and in a peaceful location. It has a wonderful bright open plan lounge, comfortable sofa and armchairs, well equiped kitchen and dining area and views over the outside patio to the tiddlers paddock. We spent time on the beach rather than in the swimming pool but it was warm and inviting. The property is very well maintained with books, games and a pool table for those indoor periods but it is located close by lovely heath and costal walks as well as the resort towns. The owners were charming and we would certainly recommend a stay here and hope to return.

Had a very nice week staying in Tiddlers Paddock, very nicely appointed cottage with everything there that you need. Lovely upstairs sitting room, kitchen/diner looking out onto horses, and a terrace. Bedrooms comfortable and the property was very clean and well-maintained.

Only one negative I would say is because the bedrooms are mainly downstairs and the doors (being all stone floors) slam very loudly, which if there people in the next door property you can notice them. But I wouldn't say it caused a problem.

Excellent location only a couple of miles from Budleigh, with restaurants and pubs and lovely beach. Spent a couple of days on dartmoor and at Paignton Zoo, as well as the coastal villages. Had a lovely, relaxing week with fab weather!! Also got my non-riding boyfriend on a horse riding over the heath, on very safe horses.

Would definitely return again.

We have much enjoyed a quiet 3 night break in Tiddlers Well, a warm, comfortable and excellently appointed house. The beds were top of the range and so comfortable.
It was so convenient for Exeter and the surrounding areas.
Chrissy and Barbara were very welcoming and we hope to come again.
I agree that a Visitors' Book would be a good idea.

Great property, wonderful position, well equipped and very cosy. Lovely gardens and views of ponies in the paddock. Next door neighbour was very noisy between 11.00 pm and midnight. The double bed needs a new mattress.
A visitor handbook would be very helpful.

Bedroom one, two singles, bedroom two 1 double, bedroom 3, two singles. Spacious and living room and kitchen area combined, overlooking small paddock to rear. large utility/games room, seperate bath and shower rooms both with toilet. Topsy-turvey layout with bedrooms 1& 2, bathroom, shower room and utility room downstairs, bedroom 3 and living room upstairs. Off road parking for 1 large or 2 small vehicles, no road parking.
Riding school facilities on site, 50 yard walk to common land and Devon countryside. Reservoir on the common open for fishing year round, permits available in Exmouth.
Budleigh Salt'n & Exmouth within 2 miles, Tesco superstore approx. 2 miles in Exmouth. Excellent quiet and secluded base for visiting the Devon countryside, to the east Sidmouth, Branscombe & Beer. Beer very picturesque working fishing port with steep pebble beach, Sidmouth if you're looking for sand for the youngsters.
Didn't sample the local restaurants, that's for next time!
